Recess appointments would be playing right into the Demonrats' claims that Trump wants to be a dictator.
If his nominees are solid, they should have no problem with confirmation.

If any of them are rejected, Trump still has a great bench waiting for their number to be called.

I can still see Nikki Haley fitting in somehow, despite her disagreements with Trump on certain issues.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for good-looking, strong, intelligent women.

Agree with you….recess appointments are a bad idea, and I hope Trump doesn’t do it. Also agree that Haley could be an asset.

I AM surprised that Trump didn't pick Dr. Ben Carson as his Secretary of DHHS.
I like Carson a lot, and there's no doubt he knows his stuff, but maybe there are some underlying factors I'm not aware of.
