It is true. They are selling all kinds of things like videos and memorabilia of games Penn State were required to vacate. They even sell aTm #2 t-shirts with the name "Football" on the back as the name.
Hypocrisy running rampant!

technically, it's not the official ncaa's website. it's turner sports website. they bought the rights to sell the merchandise from the ncaa. but based on the website's url and design, turner sports clearly intended the website to be the official ncaa merchandise website.

A distinction without a difference....Key words in the above, "....they bought the rights..." The NCAA needed only to add one sentence to the licensing agreement to retain any semblance of their dignity. "No items may be sold that in any manner advertise, embellish, or bring attention to any individual, team or event that has been....blah blah blah..."
Funny, but that didn't happen. I wonder why? Uh.....no, actually....I don't.

Saw a funny comment earlier that said now that the guy's story is out there, the NCAA realized how much money they could make off selling his #49 jersey so they decided to reinstate him. LOL

they reversed course b/c they were publically shamed. I don't know how an organization could be so tone deaf.
