So basically Willie...we've determined that you quit when you think you're beat so you can avoid admitting that you've been beaten. Sounds good. Trn, I simply don't like to piss in the dark. In fact, the only college football games I've watched so far this year were the Rocky Mountain Showdown (Colorado vs. Colorado State) and Alabama vs. Texas A&M. As I was looking at last week's choices, I realized that I really knew next to nothing about most of the football teams on the venue -- I couldn't really make informed guesses.

Yet you will gladly bloviate how much better western teams are than eastern teams. Glad to see you're admitting you're just talking out of your ass, as usual.

LZ, Glad to see that you're still slurping down all of the stuff that I pull out of my ass, as usual... Thanks Willie, you just told everyone you are an imbecile and a troll who just makes shit up to get attention. You are a perfect example of how overrated Ivy League educations are. LZ, You're the one who accused me of talking out of my ass. I simply commented that, under the circumstances, you seem to have an appetite for feces. But, you appear to be in error on several accounts. My comments about East and West in football were about the general historical tendency of the past few decades, as documented by Stassen's statistics. It is unclear how this general geographic bias applies to specific teams and their point spreads this early in the year. I can tell you that Stanford appeared much stronger than Wisconsin against Arizona State, and that Colorado State's defense was far tougher against Alabama than Texas A&M's defense this year. I think Alabama was 0-9 on third downs and led Colorado State only 17-6 before the 4th quarter. (Alabama and CSU both had roughly 300 total yards of offense in that game-- but Alabama got 14 points off of a fumble and a good kick return in the game.) Colorado's QB, Connor Wood, threw for 400 yards and 3 TDs against Colorado State in the Rocky Mountain Showdown-- so Colorado's offense looked much better than Alabama's against Colorado State. Paul Richardson was the PAC-12 offensive player of the week in Week One-- he had 200 yards receiving for the Buffs against the Colorado State Rams. BTW, Colorado is 6-3 against Texas A&M, and we should be 7-2-- lost a game in College Station that we should have won in the Dan Hawkins era.

But don't kid yourselves-- there's not a man on this board who could ever compete head-to-head with Willie Wunderlich in a real contest. The sad fact is +8 to +10 will end up winning and by years end you might have been right there competing for first but we'll never know. I know few of the teams relative strengths and have no time to research, so I throw out two practice dummies that my lab retrieves for most of my picks (lately the correct ones). And I'm at +7. If you believed the book is honest and flipped a coin you'd be at least at +5. It's a fing game played anonymously. Well for most of us anyway. LOL
Had you just been intentionally home late from the mountains, you could have dropped out with honor but you just had to be a drama queen. That's your wont.

I've watched almost none of the games I post every week. I watch FSU's games every week...and it has only been on the list once. The lack of informed guessing is a bullshit excuse. You can review stats, play by play, history, injuries....all of it without seeing a single play. I'm pretty sure that not a single person in this game watches all the teams on the list. Or most. Or even half. If I get to see parts of three games on the list it is a big week. Don't be such an insufferable dick.

ET, The last time that you disagreed with me in an argument was September of 2011. You told me to sell my stocks and buy gold. I told you to sell your gold (when it was over $1,700 an ounce) and buy stocks. Who won that argument??? Never thought the FED would permanently buy bonds to the tune of $80 billion per month to prop up the stock market. It's the socialist democrats way of trying trickle down economics, can't dare to do it Ronald Reagan's way. So far it hasn't helped Main Street America one bit. When the gravy train is withdrawn which will happen at some point, the stock market will fall by 50%.

...so the man got out of the cart, walked to the front of the rig, looked the mule in the eye and said, "That's ONE!", climbed back into the cart and the trip continued, without another word being spoken...
