I dunno, Darryl. Auburn ranked #7? They won a 7 point squeaker over Washington State and lost to LSU-- the only top 10 ranked team they've played thus far. They did beat Texas A&M by 3-- as did Alabama. Alabama and South Carolina both skunked Arkansas by 50 points. So, Auburns win over the Hogs is not all that impressive, by comparison. I think the USA Today poll is a bit more accurate.

One other thing I would question about both polls. They've got Arizona State (6-2) ranked below Wisconsin (6-2) even though the Sun Devils beat the Badgers in head-to-head competition. How do they figure?

I couldn't agree more. The barners are waaaay overrated. They're getting cocky around here too, believe me. They trailed missy state at home in auburn with mere seconds left in the game, they beat A&M in the last seconds of the game, and the lowly hogs were robbed of at least seven points due to bad officiating against them yesterday. I think the barners lose to UGA before BAMA gets a crack at them in the Iron Bowl so that ranking snafu will soon be corrected. 

As far as Arizona State goes.... I think most voters may still think that the Badgers were robbed in that game vs them. Wisconsin is also only sharing northern votes with Ohio State and Michigan State while ASU is splitting votes with Oregon, Stanford, USC, and UCLA.
