This is for all the people who think OSU doesn’t deserve a place in the NCG.

The main two arguments being used against OSU are: not convincing enough victories; and, the history of the past 7 years of SEC dominance and invincibility. Let’s take a look at the history. There is a coach who won 24 straight victories after being hired. There is also a team with an incredible individual and conference history of dominance. There is a team who barely won their games all year. For one of them there was an entire country who said they didn’t deserve to play in the NCG and even if they stole the invitation they would be humiliated. There was a team who would be a double digit underdog. Sound familiar? No, I don’t think it does sound familiar to you. I would accept that from fans who can’t see past the fence in their front yard, but for the professional journalists (?) I would hope for more integrity and less bias.

I am not talking about OSU and Auburn. I am talking about the Miami Hurricanes and OSU!!! Just ten years ago Larry Coker was a new coach for Miami and had won 24 straight games after being hired. OSU had been up and down for the year and had many games they could have lost. The entire country was either laughing at OSU or looking forward to their humiliation and massive loss. For the people who can’t remember and the “professional journalists” who refuse to remember The Ohio State University won the game!! By the way, for the people who say OSU really lost the game all you have to do is go to google images and type in “OSU Chris Gamble overtime interference”. You will see picture of Chris Gamble being interfered with while the ball is in the air a YARD before getting to him on the famous overtime play.

The sad thing is that even when these people are clearly shown their bias, they won’t care. Just as Simon and Garfunkel once wrote, “A man believes what he wants to believe and disregards the rest”!

LOL!!! My2cents eh? Give it up. There was no interference. Even Gamble has admitted as much long ago. You still get to keep the trophy. BTW, here is a youtube breaking down the call and it clearly demonstrates there was no contact with the ball in the air until after Gamble laid hands on the ball. Enjoy:

Just got around to reading this thread.   If you are referring to me, Darryl (hope I spelled it right), I used one fake name a looooong time ago and then only for a short while.   Heck man, I don't even remember what that name was!

But blame me if you must.  I can take it.
