#1 Gators hosted #2 Sooners last season: Showdown tonight at 7 PM EST in O'Connell Center: www.gatorsports.com/article/20140131/ARTICLES/140139900?p=1&tc=pg#gsc.tab=0UF has already won at UCLA and Auburn and won at home last week against Georgia. Too bad this one isn't televised live: Television: meet airs tape-delayed on SUN Sports (Gainesville/Ocala Cox cable channel 48 or 1048) on Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. and again Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. I'm sure it will be shown on Sun Sports throughout Florida on tape delay. Sorry Harry.

LOL. I can handle the diss. And FTR, I do like gymnastics. Used to go to the meets when I was at OU.

Friday, March 6, UF travels to Norman to complete the home and home. The meet will feature the co-defending national champions from last season.
OU is unbeaten and ranked #1. UF is twice beaten, at #5 bama and at #2 LSU, and ranked #3. The Gators have played the best and should be ready for anything the sooners will throw at them.
Bridget Sloan, UF's top gymnast, has competed on the bars the last two weeks. UF coach Rhonda Faehn hasn't yet decided if she will let Bridget compete on the bars and beam at OU. The goal is to ease Bridget back into the all-around come the SEC and national championships. Bridget had a high ankle sprain during the floor routine in the opening meet of the season.
It's a shame the meet will only be televised in a narrow area in sooner country.

Huge, huge night for women's gymnastics and it isn't on national tv. One would think ESPN would have found a way to televise the meet:
Wednesday March 4, 2015 2014 NCAA gymnastics co-champions No. 3 Florida and No. 1 Oklahoma meet Friday
The two teams that shared the 2014 NCAA Gymnastics title - Florida and Oklahoma - meet Friday in Norman, Okla. GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It is the most anticipated dual meet of the 2015 women’s collegiate gymnastics season. Both defending NCAA champions - No. 3 Florida and No. 1 Oklahoma – meet Friday in OU’s Lloyd Noble Center. The meet is set for 7:45 p.m. (ET) on Friday, March 6.
Friday’s Meet Info: No. 3 Florida (6-2, 5-2 SEC) at No. 1 Oklahoma (11-0) Date & Time: Friday, March 6 at 7:45 p.m. ET Site: Lloyd Noble Center (12,000) Television: live on Sooner Sports TV at 8 p.m. ET. Live on FS Oklahoma and FS Southwest (Mavericks territory only). Fox College Sports Central(Gainesville/Ocala Cox cable channel 272) airs meet tape-delayed March 7 at midnight and 4 a.m. ET. Series Record (all-time): UF leads 12-4-1. Last meeting, Florida and Oklahoma tied for the 2014 NCAA title (198.175). Video Stream: live video stream available at FOX Sports Go; live stats available on GatorZone.com
Friday’s meet will air live on the Sooner Network and airs tape-delayed March 7 at midnight and at 4 a.m. on Fox College Sports Central (Gainesville/Ocala Cox Cable channel 272).
Fox Sports Southwest (FSSW) subscribers can view the meet live on the FOX Sports Go app.
Last Florida-OU dual meet:
Last year, these two teams met twice. Prior to sharing the 2014 NCAA title at a NCAA Super Six record score of 198.175 in April, the two teams met in Gainesville on the final day of January. Then No. 2 Florida took a 197.875-197.225 win over No. 1 Oklahoma in front of a Stephen C. O’Connell Center crowd of 7,260. Kytra Hunter turned in a second-consecutive 10.0 floor mark to become the first Gator to turn in multiple perfect floor marks. Bridget Sloan won all-around (39.75), bars (9.90) and beam (9.95) and shared the vault win with Hunter at 9.95.
Oklahoma in 2015:
Oklahoma ranked No. 2 on the GymInfo preseason poll, but has held at least a share of the No. 1 spot for each of the eight weekly rankings released this season. Florida and Oklahoma shared the No. 1 spot in the Jan. 19 rankings, but the Sooners have had a solitary hold on the top spot for each release since. The Sooners are atop the national rankings for three events – bars, beam and floor – and are No. 3 in vault.
Olympians in Lloyd Noble Center Friday:
Part of the Sooner Network broadcast team calling Friday’s meet is Kelly Garrison-Funderburk. Both she and Florida head coach Rhonda Faehn were part of the 1988 U.S. Olympic team.
Another U.S. women’s gymnastics Olympian at Friday’s meet is Florida junior Bridget Sloan, who was the youngest member of the 2008 Olympic silver medal team.
National Rank:
Florida – Florida is No. 3 in the March 2 GymInfo rankings. This is the second week the national rankings are based on regional qualifying score.
Oklahoma – The Sooners are No. 1 in the GymInfo rankings.

Hmmm, I'm not buying it. Nobody has been that good all year:
Final: Oklahoma 198.50 (nation's high of 2015) #Gators: 198.10 (2nd highest road score of 2015)
While both are excellent scores, that is considerably higher than OU has hit all year..........Can't wait for nationals:
