love love love the grit these guys are playing w/right now. sueing has picked up the slack and knocked down shots, thornton has continued his upward trending arc since his hand injury issues mid season. they are grinding and hustling on d and on the boards vs a bigger more physical msu. sparty will try to wear the bucks down over time... and they're not shooting to their standards. but man this looks good so far. mcneil off the dribble for the stop and pop. bucks are very efficient on offense right now... |

a great first half. leading by 9 when msu had 8 fta's and tosu had none. efficient on offense (33 pts on 27 possessions) and scrappy/tenancious on d. sparty just 1-9 on 3's, 9-29/31% shooting overall. they are starting to get more 2nd looks on the offensive boards, and you have to figure they're going to start heating up. but bucks are not backing down. |
