Not able to get out of the round of 32, losing to a #15 seed last time there, under .500 last season....The Buckeyes have dropped 16 straight road contests through last night__it was time. The second time that has happened in two seasons. Really hard to imagine. Now OSU is going to fork over $14 million for him not to coach....smh

I think the lack of filled seats at the last 2 home games (iu, terps) showing the fan base had given up on the season made pulling the trigger after another road loss the final straw. hard to blame the coach when the team simply isn't consistently hitting shots, and this team remains the youngest in the league by far. that said, both the hoosiers and maryland looked so much crisper and quicker on offense... it was time.

Against Wisky the other night, they went 7 minutes and made just one bucket, then went another 7 minutes going scoreless....it was brutal watching the missed layups and open jumpers

having seen all 3 of those in person, obviously they were great moments but only the ‘06-‘07 team that made that amazing comeback to tie Xavier in regulation at rupp arena was truly a great team. other great moments I recall… ‘68-dave sorenson hits a bucket at the buzzer to shock uk in Lexington in the regional final to send fred taylor to his final of 4 final 4’s ‘91-jim Jackson’s jumper in the lane to beat indiana. ‘07-bucks come back from 20 down to beat tennessee in a regional semi, sealed by greg oden’s last-second block. ‘13-aaron craft’s 3 beats iowa st in dayton, sending tosu to the sweet 16

Too bad he had medical issues, at the end. Or so I read. Statistically, from 2000- COVID the top three were MSU, Wisky and TOSU.
