I laughed when I saw this - Michigan screws up committed 4 star DT recruitment - Sometimes they get back in the saddle and sometimes they don't. Maybe Harbaugh should pay less attention to satellite camps and more attention to the players that have genuine interest in Michigan? Come on down Aubrey Soloman. UF could use another DT in the 17 class:
Michigan’s mistake could be an SEC school’s gain.
Defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon, a former Michigan commit, re-opened his recruitment Monday after an embarrassing series of gaffes by the Wolverines’ staff. Here’s what Solomon told Kipp Adams of Dawgs247:
“A day or two ago, they sent my mom a card thanking us for going to the Michigan bbq, but we never went,” Solomon said. “I do not know which recruit they were talking to, but it was not me. It was just a little heartbreaking, for me to supposedly be so high on their list, for them to confuse me with someone else. Plus they spelled both of my names wrong after I told them, but that was not the main issue. I guess they do not have tabs on me.”
Ouch.
Solomon, a native of Leesburg, Georgia, is a U.S. Army All-American and the nation’s No. 5 defensive tackle for the class of 2017, as ranked by 247Sports. As reported by Adams, Solomon will consider Georgia, Alabama, USC, Oregon, Clemson and Florida. He told Adams that Michigan remains an option.
Let this be a lesson to programs out there to double-check their mailings to recruits. You can’t be too careful.

Don't you think Saban could have changed some in the past decade? People mellow as they get older, I know I have I know I have as well. I used to throw things and yell a lot during games. A big loss would bother me for days. Kids tend to have that affect on you, I guess. Different priorities and all. i tend to get more dramatic the later the game in the day...ie night games get me really pumped or really crabby. thta's like everything in life though...the longer you are awake, the more dramatic everything is.

UF has 15 commitments, but is expected to close with 9 more for a total of 24 by NSD. That's 37.5% of UF's 2017 recruiting class to decide over the next 3 weeks.

USC did something that I can't ever remember reading or hearing about before. They offered a scholarship and have a commit who is #4 at his position in the nation.......long snapper. There are HS kids specializing in long snapping? Who knew?
