yeah, it does..and yeah, it IS the best.. when it comes to personal protection, I'll take 16 shots over ten any day of the week. The more the merrier. Quit being a mule head and get yourself a g19... your loved ones will thank you. The 9MM is the best for YOU. NOT for me. I have been shooting .45ACP all my adult life, and I am quite comfortable with it. Accuracy, recoil, power, all that good stuff. I don't need a G19 to shoot a few times, then put up just to look at while I carry the workhorse every day. I'll take the money wasted on a G19 and use it to buy more .45ACP ammunition or reloading components. Now THAT makes sense.
I have one 9MM to play with ............ that's all I need. 1st, you don't PLAY with guns. 2nd, The G19 is best for you, or anyone that's looking for reliable personal protection that won't let you down, it's just that you don't realize it. Like I said, In a life or death situation, the more shots you have at your disposal, the better. Case closed.

I mostly shoot for fun, which is entertainment, which is playing. I think you are confusing my playing with guns with your playing with yourself.
2. You don't know what you are talking about. I speak from experience in the real world, from seeing up close and personal various gunshot wounds and their effect, from talking to other cops who have been in shooting situations, from 50 years of experience and familiarity with the .45ACP, and many other factors. My Glock 30S and the .45ACP round are not going to let me down. The .45 is bigger, more powerful and more accurate than a 9MM. Why would I give up ANY of that?
If ANY 9MM handgun were better for me, I would have gotten one a long time ago. I want the best to protect my life, and until something better is invented, the G30S is THE best. For me.
Stop repeating the 9MM fanboy talking points and tell the class your own personal experience that has convinced you that a spray-and-pray 9MM pistol is the answer.

ok then, run out of ammo when it counts the most. No skin off my nose. Anyway, you don't have to try and cover up the fact that you said you play with a 9mm. I take firearms very seriously. As everyone should. I don't 'spray and pray.' I take my time but I do it in a hurry. If another threat should arise after I've put the first one down, then I have the additional firepower to handle that too. You may or may not. Like I said, no skin off my nose. shrug.

I'm not gonna say this is the definitive study, or an expert study, but it IS an interesting study, especially at the 17:05 mark.
When he did the meat test with .45 ACP hard ball then launched into how well it did you knew he was biased toward the .45 especially when he didn't even bother to do the same test with 10mm hardball. Why is that, Mutt?

I play with all my guns. I thought I made it clear that using a gun for entertainment is playing. I don't horse around with guns, I don't handle them carelessly, I have NEVER in my LIFE tried a quick draw with a loaded gun, blah blah blah. Shooting at cans, paper targets, dirt clods (where safe), ------ things like that are PLAYING with a gun.
Here's a fact for you. Criminals are cowards. When the shooting starts, or thy even see a good guy with a gun, they want to RUN. Cops "need" high capacity guns because it is their duty to engage, chase down, and catch the bad guys. They don't get to stop when the threat ends. You and I DO, in fact we have to in most situations. If I end the fight by just showing my gun, I WIN. If I fire once, miss, and he runs, I WIN. The first time one of my shots HITS the bad guy, in most cases, he is ready to run if he can. Criminals don't even stand and fight with cops unless they are trapped. MOST of the time.
Now comes the moment of truth. You aren't getting off that easy. YOU claim I MUST have a spray and pray 9MM to be fully armed. YOU told me I am wrong. Well pal, you are gonna have to prove that. Now tell me your own personal experience(s) that have convinced you of this. Don't pussy out now. Give me FACTS. Tell me how many times you have been in a life or death situation where you could " take my time but I do it in a hurry. If another threat should arise after I've put the first one down, then I have the additional firepower to handle that too." How many times have you done that, Rambo?

And yes, most professionals ARE biased towards the .45ACP. They know that for an everyday SD handgun for the people who can handle it, there is no better choice than the .45.
You obviously CAN'T handle it, so just say so. There's no shame in it. Many grown men cant handle a .45 as well as a well-trained 16 year old girl. It just depends on how you have trained.

I guess you didn't catch the obvious when his final test with FMJ rounds was ONLY with .45 ACP after all his other tests compared .45 THEN 10mm in the same test. Why is that, Mutt? Is it because for his final test he wanted to leave the impression that .45 ACP was better because it went both 'lungs' and both ribs? Do you think 10mm FMJ would've done the same? You're stupid if you can't see the obvious. And just what the f is "most professionals"? How many rounds do you have to shoot to be a "professional"? You keep using that term so as to imply you know what you're talking about and the rest of us are ignorant civilians. You couldn't be more arrogant and idiotic.

Seems to me that you are the one with the small hands, not me. You can probably only BARELY handle the .45 so you go on and on. Tell everyone again why I can't "handle" a comparatively soft recoiling .45 but can "handle" 10mm, .357mag and .44mag, our little "well-trained 16 year old girl", LOL.

"Professional" is someone who uses a gun for a living, such as a hunting guide, competition shooter, company rep/demo shooter, etc., to my way of thinking. A "professional" again to my way of thinking is someone who is an expert in a particular field. I am NOT, nor do I claim to be a professional. I'm just a guy who has studied and used handguns of all sorts for about 50 years.
