I hope and pray I'll never have to use my weapon for self defense. So far, so good. I've also prayed that I won't be attacked by a T-Rex. So far so good. Guess there is a God and i had the phrase down pat in case that big shiny silver guy came walking down my street melting everybody with his laser eye

You are making an argument that undercuts any reason to prosecute, for instance, drug dealers. Drug dealers do not force anyone to take the drugs they sell. The drug is an object that cannot do anything by itself, just as a gun. It sits there in a bag on the shelf, innocent of any harm to anyone. So why is a seller of such a thing wrong for selling it? Is drug dealing protected by the Constitution? Nope. Is ownership of an AR protected by the Constitution? YES.

Are the drugs drug dealers sell illegal?
Are AR-15's illegal?
This place has become toxically stupid. And their stupidity is limitless and without shame. They don't even understand what has happened to them under the liberalism of the last 50 years! Some of them were born into it but some of them are old enough to see the difference and still choose to be liberal. It's like being born and raised in a Christian household then converting as an adult to the evil corporation pawning itself off as a religious group known as the Jehovah's Witnesses.

They don't even understand what has happened to them under the conservatism of the last 50 years! Some of them were born into it but some of them are old enough to see the difference and still choose to be conservative. It's like being born and raised in an atheist household then converting as an adult to the evil corporation pawning itself off as a religious group known as Christianity. FIFY

nice dodge. what’s your number? how many innocent kids/adults have to be gunned down in cold blood with these kind of weapons before you see that current gun laws are part of the problem? if you’re posting pics of the kind of guns used in many of these mass murders, bragging about it, or supporting people who post it, then we haven’t reached your number yet before you care enough to change your tune. so, what’s your number? I certainly don't have a number, and forgetting the rhetoric on both sides for the moment...what law would have prevented this event from happening? In advance, I don't claim to have "the" answer, because truth be told a "the" answer doesn't exist. harry I know there’s not a ‘the’ answer. but any action to stem this murderous trend has to include out gun laws. for example how is it possible for this kid to not be allowed, by law, to purchase a handgun but allowed, again by law, to legally purchase an ar-15?? the fbi admitted today to missing signs that neeeded to be communicated to their miami office in this kid... that is obviously a communication error that cannot happen again. but congress also signed into law (2005?) protection for gun manufacturers against lawsuits. and it wasn’t just conservatives who voted for it. eliminating all assault weapons may be infeasible or impossible, but current gun laws are part of the problem, a problem that is directly contributing to the deaths of innocent people, including children and teachers, in numbers that are just too big to continue to ignore, or immediately spark conservatives to circle the 2nd amendment wagons. kids are being gunned down, and the survivors are telling the adults it’s tine to do something. and they’re right.

Walt, that is a dumber thing than I would expect from even Traitor Willie or CWG. That has to be the MOST STUPID COMMENT you have ever posted. Illicit drugs have no good purpose; guns do. THAT is what you need to agree with.

Muslim terrorists murder people worldwide. Lieberals: "Don't blame ALL Muslims."
A few nutcases with guns murder people. Lieberals: "BLAME ALL GUNOWNERS AND THE GUN INDUSTRY."

Illicit drugs certainly do have a purpose. Nobody would buy them if they didn't. Same with guns. Whether either is "good" is arguable.

There are things that need to be done that will impact the future. 1st stop is eliminating ghost guns and ghost Ars in particular. Build your own w/o S/Ns. 2X the price but a fav of ghetto bangers w tons of drug money to burn. Essentially you build your own w minimal machining equipment. That loophole needs to be closed. Currently you can also legally build your own w assembly of parts and a registered receiver for 1/2X. Different assembly process. But that wouldn't prevent school shootings, the topic of concern here, now.
