you forgot to quote the whole thing........and 19th century advertising..........really? You asked to find advertising from a gun manufacturer that said guns kill and I did. You never said from what era or the context. And they are from the 50s. It says right in the ad "Shoots straight and kills" Now go find me any ad or commercial about any vehicle that says they kill from any time period. Those were the rules. But of course you're the all time champion of moving the goal posts. At least that gun manufacturer was truthful in its ad

So you are claiming an individual has no right to protect himself? Who, then, do you think is going to do it? From where in my comment did you get that idea? You didn't mention individual self-defense. If you believe we have the right to own guns for that purpose too, then I misspoke.

Yes you are a waste of bandwidth, because you are totally INCORRECT. Don't want to own a gun (which is your right)? Then don't own one, but don't tell me I can't own one. Never said that, nor meant to imply that. What we don't want is the wide distribution of people-killing machines. You can hunt the same way that the people who wrote the 2nd amendment hunted, with single-shot rifles. You can shoot beer cans with it, if that's your goal. If you need to protect your house get a shotgun. They hunted, fought wars, shot for fun, and defended themselves with single shots because that's all they had. Every gun is a people killing machine, if the person using it is a killer. For the majority of gun owners, killing, even in self-defense, is low on the priority list.
I carry a gun every day, every time I go somewhere. I carried for 27 years as a cop. At no time has killing or shooting someone been foremost in my mind.

Just as soon as you show me a commercial from Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Colt, Smith & Wesson, Glock, Taurus, etc that says "will kill anybody in just one shot" They dont have commercials However here are some old ads for guns. If you go halfway down you'll see an ad for Iver Johnson revolver which says and I'll quote "They shoot straight and kill. You may need one only once in your lifetime: Buy Now, so you have it that one time." www.google.com/amp/s/splinternews.com/how-gun-advertising-in-america-has-changed-since-the-19-1793851674/ampHave a nice day Henry Rifles runs ads on TV all the time. You just don't watch the right channels.

No. I dont watch gun freak network but I do watch History channel a lot and have never seen a gun commercial on there I've watched a ton of TV in my lifetime and have never seen a gun commercial. Edit: After looking it up, nearly all networks wont show gun commercials. They flat out refuse. The only ones who do are the hunting and channels dedicated to guns which I never ever watch

you forgot to quote the whole thing........and 19th century advertising..........really? You're arguing with a fool. I've finally had enough of that moron's stupidity and put him on ignore for now. There's no point in trying to reason with someone as mentally incompetent as he is. We have sharper tools in the happy hearts row at church!

Available when the 2nd Amendment was written.Just like every other anti-gunner, you're full of lies, misinformation, propaganda and you don't even know what the hell you're talking about.

And if you could afford a cannon back then go for it. Sorta makes that bazooka argument the brain dead keep throwing in there look disingenuous don't it.

And the 2nd amendment is from the 1700s. Why is one too old to be relevant and not the other
