After reading this so-called editorial, I find that it reads like a compilation of every Left Wing rant since the 2016 election. There were crazy articles from the Left that President Trump was insane, senile, unstable, etc., and that the 25th Amendment should be invoked to remove him from office. That's one of the first rants in this editorial.
There were reports last spring that President Trump would decide something in a cabinet meeting, then change his mind a few days later. That's in this article as well.
Next, the stale claim that President Trump wants to end sanctions on Russia, yet those sanctions are still in place.
If one complied a synopsis of every front-page story about President Trump in the New York Times since the election, it would read just like this editorial. Maybe their reporters should look around the newsroom (or the editorial board) to identify the author. There has been speculation that the author is NOT undercutting Trump, but rather that the NYT is being used by the Admin. to rally up the base in Trump's defense. The intent of the author is not yet known, even if we DID verify that it came from within the WH. Your take could very well comport with that speculation. I agree that it doesn't read well. Not sure what that all means. |

Do I have to list all of the times that the Cheese turned out to be dead wrong, after pointedly disagreeing with me?
Some people are simply incapable of learning anything from their repeated mistakes.

Sulzberger, Rosenthal, et.al., would not have published this anonymous WH staff letter on the front page without vetting it.

I'm pissed that Trump and the GOP Koch Congress succeeded in scamming the clueless American public (once again) with their Trickle Down III bill last December. It won't stimulate significant U.S. GDP or median wage economic growth. We learned that lesson after 2003, eh?
It's more Bush-Cheney style national debt growth in order to enrich the super rich and "starve the beast."
Any reputable economists who thought Trump's Trickle Down III crap was a good idea for the U.S. economy?
P.S. It's not about me, Cheese. It's about the public good vs. Trump/Koch/GOP plutocracy.
