FSU holds them both!!!!!!!!!!!!------------------------------------- Fair enough, but as OU mentioned yesterday all it takes is a 6-6 record to get into a bowl these days (and occasionally not even a 6-6 record if the NCAA approves your petition). FSU's last six bowl games were played in the Emerald, Music City, Champs (twice), Gator and Peach bowls. BAMA's last six were BCSCG (twice--once in the Rose and the other in the Sugar Bowl), independence (twice), Capitol One vs B1G co-champ, and BCS Sugar Bowl. Plus I'm sure you know that BAMA holds the record for most bowl games and most bowl wins, right? BAMA has also been ranked in the last 79 consecutive AP Top 25 polls, FSU has only been ranked in the last 17. And finally.... According to official NCAA records FSU had losing seasons in both 2006 and 2007 so hint, FSU doesn't even hold that record of most current winning seasons either.

Too bad we did not meet back in the 90's,as I could really show you some stats/streaks/records...... BAMA is certainly on top of their game right now..and like I PREVIOUSLY STATED, I never had any problems or dislikes with BAMA until I met you. FSU will rise again....

It's easy to make it into the top 5 with the weak schedule provided by the SEC to Alabama and Georgia. Alabama beat 4 teams with winning records, 7-5 or better. One was Western Kentucky. Alabama didn't play Georgia, a scheduling gift by the SEC as they were supposed to play this season instead getting Mizzou, Florida, South Carolina, or Vanderbilt. Those are the SEC East's top 4 teams and all have winning records. Florida beat 7 teams with winning records including LSU and Texas A&M, the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the SEC West. Georgia beat 2 teams with winning records, Florida and Vanderbilt. Similar to Alabama, Georgia didn't play any of the SEC West's top 4 teams, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State. With SEC favorable scheduling like this, it's no wonder Alabama and Georgia backed into top 5 rankings. The SEC gave Alabama an easier road which also gave Georgia an easy road by the two programs not playing as originally scheduled. Lmao.... Hey dummy, that Top 5 streak includes a blowout win over UF. BAMA has remained in the Top 5 for two years despite playing against every team from the SEC West (the nations toughest division) plus playing OOC games with Penn State (home and away) and Michigan (Dallas). Also you might ask Lsu fans which is tougher, playing Arkansas in Fayetteville or Vandy in Nashville. BAMA beat Arkansas 52-0 in Fayetteville while UF struggled mightily (again) against Vandy. BAMA will play UGA in two days instead of UF because UF wasn't good enough to even win the weak SECe division. After the last three blowout wins by BAMA over UF one might think that the Gators lost to UGA on purpose just to avoid being embarrassed by the Tide yet again.

All good, that 0 at the end of our record will get us through the cold winter. Maybe someday you will be good enough again to do that. Maybe. LOL....your ignorance is very telling....... FSU.....Only team to start(pre-season) #1, NEVER drop, and finish the season ranked #1.... try that Bucky!!!!!!!6 unbeaten, untied seasons says plenty, I think. How about you? Oh that's right, you did it in 1950, too. Let's recap that season... Troy State 26-7Randolph-Macon College 40-7Howard 20-6Newberry College 24-0 (I was actually recruited by them, ironically enough) Sewanee 14-8Stetson 27-7Mississippi College 33-0Tampa 35-19I would be interested to know how many of those school still have football programs (if they still exist at all, that is) but don't feel like looking it up. Simply reliving the fact that you played them was enough to bring a smile to my face.
