They gave us beer, my friend swiped a glass Ross Valory was drinking vodka out of. Bob Seger, Neil Diamond, Chicago, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Peter Frampton, but the most entertaining, IMO, was Tina Turner. I saw Sonny and Cher at the NY state fair when I was like 12 years old. My aunt took my older sister and I. They wanted to see S&C I liked the ventriloquist opening act better. I just wanted to go to the fair couldn't of cared less about the music. lol

I was a huge fan back then. Those first three albums are stellar. Saw them at Winterland from about 20 feet away. They were LOUD.

To give you an idea of how quickly fame fades, I saw PaulRandR in 1969, on grad night at Disneyland. They played on a makeshift stage adjacent to the Merry-go-round. I recall thinking that it was a little sad to witness.
