I'm waiting to hear more from him, if he is able. I don't know if anyone here has phone contact with Marc or not.
I keep praying .............
was over at the house for a couple hours again yesterday until his doctor stopped by to visit. marc shared plenty of stories, per usual - I'm sure there were threads of facts in most of them, ha - and I did lots of listening. from the jazz and music scene in central ohio in the 60s/70s, to the history of what was and now is the north side of columbus, to his days on campus, to his old business and the people/connections he made, to who was n'western's star running back in 1970 (mike adamle, which I knew) to who was nu's star rb the next season, when the wildcats beat the bucks at the shoe (that would be the son of one of marc's neighbors, kid named al robinson, which I did not know-lol), to les wexner's 'wife', the guys he's teaching to build turntables, and many other topics... including barb shaking her head at when we first started communication (1994 for us two on aol... finally met 5 or 6 years later). oh yeah, tosu-nd in '95 came up too, thanks to the framed pic on the wall showing an aerial view of that sellout crowd. meds/treatment aftermath caused a couple recall trigger delays, but not many. just wish his body was being more cooperative... his wife (with whom I worked 20 years ago) is working from home now. she remains a sweetheart. continued prayers of comfort... p.s.-marc, don't hesitate to edit my comments to correct my errors. Thank you for the update. It hurts not seeing his posts here or at AK and not knowing how he's doing.

I checked in wednesday and again after lunch today. both times he was resting. sleeping a lot, I’m told. wish I had more/better news. From my own personal experience, sleeping a lot is usually about the final stage. More like a peaceful, painless transition than anything else.
God be with him.
I'm sure Canefan has a LOT more insight than I do, from a physician's standpoint.
