So when will you start shooting? Are you a criminal? Are all the other shooters criminals before shooting? No, just as all passengers boarding a plane aren't hijackers. Shall we disband the TSA? What's your point? Flying on an airliner is NOT a right. Driving is NOT a right.
When will that sink in?

FBM is an advertising tool. Nothing more. This discussion is a variant of you previous discussions re face to face firearm sales, which can include FBM, ghetto arms sales, …… The process for tracking down the upstream source is the same be it a BATF licensed vendor or not. What is your point? Are random FTF, unmonitored gun sales acceptable to you? YES. Those sales are protected by the U.S. Constitution. If I want to trade my boat for your plow tractor, with or without a cash sweetener, it ain't nobody's business but ours. That's the way it works with any two marketable items.
If the seller is a law abiding citizen, he is NOT RESPONSIBLE for what the buyer does with the gun afterwards, as long as the buyer has given no indication that he intends to use the gun for an illegal activity, or that he is forbidden by law from owning it.
You see, we already have laws against murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, and a whole slew of other offenses in which a gun might or might NOT be used. Now how many laws have STOPPED those activities when law enforcement had no advance knowledge that they would be tried?

Why liberal douchebags cannot understand privacy and personal rights is beyond the pale. Commie scum for sure.

They don't understand that most of the things we do in our daily lives are privileges, NOT rights.
But they are welcome to ask, and I will happily tell them what is a right and what is a privilege, if they should ever want to be truly educated. Do you think they do?

What is your point? Are random FTF, unmonitored gun sales acceptable to you? Your point re FaceBook implies something unique. It isn’t. They are an announcement tool. Nothing more. Same as any rag w a readership that a seller can reach, a note on a grocery bulletin board, and on and on.What made you thinkFB was unique enough to mention that type of sale again? That personal seller still has rules to abide by. My only change to fa sales involves gun shows. If you use that method IMO you are a retail box subject to those rules. I’ve posted that here for years. You did not answer my Q. Are face to face, unmonitored and unreported gun sales acceptable to you?

To answer the question posed by the thread title: Yes, you DO need a gun to shoot up a school. No gun, no shoot. Just how stupid ARE lieberals?
However, in addition to a gun, you need a CRIMINAL MIND. The vast majority of American gun owners do not have criminal minds, so this whole thread is totally stupid.
So again, we get down to facts.
The problem is not guns, it is CRIMINALS. There is no law that exists or that can be created that will stop a criminal from being a criminal.

The vast majority of Americans don't rob banks either. Yet there are still laws prohibiting it even though they have failed to stop it. Quit using that lame excuse. It misrepresents why any law exists at all.

I am not misrepresenting the effect of laws. YOU ARE. You think more laws will stop crime of any type. They will NOT.
Laws simply delineate what is illegal, and the punishment for violating said law. The only thing that stops a crime is a person's decision to not commit the crime in the first place.
Stop attacking guns and the millions of people who own them. You don't want a gun?
Fine. Don't own one, and STFU about those of us who do.

Your answer is easily found when I posted “My only change to fa sales involves gun shows.” Certainly, as a man w a degree in Architecture, you have a grasp in functional logic and math. If your market segment is part of my noted marketing method, I do believe it needs to be included in the box marketing channel. Seems clear to me.

I asked the question far more generally than just the one platform. Should a person be able to legally sell a gun to a complete stranger without any questions asked or any .gov oversight? Pretty simple question.

How does one discern that, if one had that as a legal standard subject to prosecution?
