Anyone could also go into the ghettos around USC in LA and buy one from a felon that legally can't possess a firearm. Walter should go into these ghettos and forcefully remove these illegally obtained weapons since he is so adamant about taking firearms away from people. NO seller can read a buyer's mind. 

And you are WRONG.
It is ILLEGAL to knowingly sell a gun to someone who legally cannot possess it.  Therefore, a seller IS legally obligated to determine to the best of his  ability that the buyer can legally own a gun.

And no, it appears this particular person  bought the gun from someone in a face-to-face transaction.  He did not buy the gun off of Facebook.

You don't violate the rights of MILLIONS just because there are a few bad apples out there.

Your point re FaceBook implies something unique. It isn’t. They are an announcement tool. Nothing more. Same as any rag w a readership that a seller can reach, a note on a grocery bulletin board, and on and on.What made you thinkFB was unique enough to mention that type of sale again? That personal seller still has rules to abide by. My only change to fa sales involves gun shows. If you use that method IMO you are a retail box subject to those rules.
