As to who works harder, walk onto any construction site and see what language most are speaking. HINT: it ain't English.
That isn't to say that the Americans don't work hard too. There are just fewer of them. The American kids get a taste of really hard work and a lot of them bail. You gotta like the hard work or you won't last, and most Americans have other, less strenuous options. It's just a plain fact.
