College World Series ---- ACC vs SEC

It's going to be only two conferences in Omaha this year.

The only question left is if it will be 5 SEC and 3 ACC teams, or 4 of each.

Either way, the championship game will most likely come down to 2 SEC teams.

As wide open a CWS as I can recall. Can make a case for any of the 8.

I think I watched all 8 finalists during the post season, and none of them are weak.
I just hope the umpires in Omaha are better than the ones in the regionals and super regionals.   I have seen better calls in Little League.

FSU got robbed. Game should have been over on the check swing with two strikes. He both broke the plane, and the pitch was in the zone.

In any case, our bullpen has been our Achilles heel all year, and it showed up the first game.

A questionable call from an umpire should never end ANY game, and absolutely not in a CWS game.

However, looks like FSU is doing well against UVA at the moment.

The umpire called a ball.  It was a ball.  That is his call alone.
The umpire called a check swing and no other umpire overruled him.

The rules are the rules.
