Gee, how about a little praise for LSU hanging in there, overcoming their own problems, and EARNING the win? They still have lots of issues--- the most glaring of which is clock mismanagment in the red zone. If LSU hadn't given up the cheap TD on the punt return, it wouldn't have been so close. And a 50 yard FG is nothing to sneeze at, especially after the UF players tried to illegally sit on the LSU players and run the clock out. Thank goodness the refs were competent for a change. But even as competent as the refs were, LSU receivers were grabbed more often than a lone whore in a gold miners' camp.
The game is over, and both teams still have their issues. As far as Jeff Driskel goes, he looked very good last night. IMHO, Driskel is the least of UF's worries. He is tough, talented, and he is a leader. LSU definitely had the better running backs, and the Tigers' OL finally woke up just enough to block for them when it counted.
I'd offer congrats to LSU on the LSU board, but you don't post on the LSU board. I did offer congrats on the main page thread, but why do I think you already knew that? If Driskel hadn't fumbled giving the ball to LSU at the UF 28, LSU wouldn't have had a two play drive on a short field for a TD. See how easy this works Bryan? LSU at no point last night would have had an easy win. Besides, the last I looked, teams are made up of offense, defense, and special teams. Yes, your kicker made a 50 yarder to win the game. Congrats. Where is your praise of Debose on his punt returns? Les Miles said in his post game that he's glad Debose is a senior because he'd never kick the ball to him again as he has both kickoff and punt return TDs against LSU. It was poor reffing one way in pass defense. I witnessed a bunch of pass interference calls against UF, but only one against LSU. Miraculously for LSU, refs ruling overthrows on catchable balls, mugging receivers during their routes, and running up the back and tripping UF receivers on long pass plays are not grounds for pass interference. Insofar as RBs go, you didn't get see UF's best RB who couldn't make a go of it due to a sprained ankle. He would have made a difference. Bryan, LSU sucked as bad as UF last night. Don't come here and expect to find the better team won bullshit. That is not the case. LSU didn't do anything in an outstanding way last night. Yes, LSU sucked last night, ET. If you had read my post "Oh heck" you would have seen I said they stumbled and bumbled their way to a win. I had already predicted LSU would go 0-8 in the SEC this year, once I saw them play. All the OOC pansies they beat up on weren't a true test.
I credited Debose with his TD punt return. Yes, Miles is smart enough to know you don't kick to a guy like him if you can avoid it.
The refs did a great job of calling the game, except when they called LSU's DB with PI because a pass hit him in the back. I didn't know you had to have your head turned back when the QB hits you with the ball. That was a new one on me.
This game is over. I'm concerned with Kentucky now. Their only loss has been to your Gators.

Kelvin Taylor was an unhappy camper after the loss to LSU. I would be shocked if he doesn't transfer if Muschamp is retained. He got 2 carries against LSU, was absent when needed on the 1st and goal at the 2, and has been underutilized all season.
Will Muschamp said after the LSU game that playing RB was more than just carrying the ball. Excuse me, but the rest, the blocking schemes, doesn't mean crapola if you can't tote the rock. Kelvin Taylor is an outstanding RB who has been almost completely ignored by this coaching staff. It is inexcusable and I think to be a Muschamp decision not to play Taylor. Kurt Roper confirmed the starting QB is Muschamp's decision. It isn't a stretch to think based on Muschamp's comments that he is behind keeping Taylor off the field too.
Jeremy Foley, fire Will Muschamp now.

I knew he was going to start the second Demarcus Robinson caught that deep pass. Yes, it was a great pass, but all it proved to me is that a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. I'm sure Muschamp saw it completely differently.

One Punt Return for a TD, and another returned to the 10. I'll give credit to the offense for not actually blowing that RZ opportunity for a change, but then again, see my blind squirrel/nut analogy.

UF announces 2015 Football Schedule:
By SCOTT CARTER GatorZone.com Senior Writer
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The last time Ole Miss visited Ben Hill Griffin Stadium the Rebels pulled off a 31-30 upset.
It was Florida’s only loss during its 2008 national championship season and prompted a piece of Gators lore: Tim Tebow’s “The Promise” speech, which is now memorialized by a plaque outside the Heavener Football Complex.
The Gators get another shot at home against Ole Miss next season. The Southeastern Conference announced schedules for all 14 SEC football teams Tuesday night and Florida hosts Ole Miss on Oct. 3 in what will be the schools’ first meeting in seven years.
The Gators play four of their first five games at home, something they haven’t done since Will Muschamp’s first season in 2011. They open with New Mexico State on Sept. 5.
The Aggies and Gators have faced each other once before, the 1994 season opener at The Swamp. The No. 1-ranked Gators cruised to a 70-21 victory.
East Carolina comes to town the following week in what will be only the second matchup between the schools. The Gators defeated East Carolina, 24-17, on Homecoming in 1983.
The Gators open their SEC schedule the following week at Kentucky and then come home to host Tennessee and Ole Miss. After the Gators play Ole Miss, they won’t play at home for more than a month.
Florida travels to Missouri on Oct. 10 and plays at LSU on Oct. 17. Following a bye week, the annual clash against Georgia in Jacksonville is slated Oct. 31
The Gators then close out the final month of the regular season with three of four games at home, starting with Vanderbilt. After a trip to South Carolina, Florida finishes the regular season with nonconference games against Florida Atlantic and Florida State.
For the 24th consecutive year, the 2015 SEC season will conclude with the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 6 in Atlanta.
The complete list of 2015 football schedules can be found on the SEC’s official website, SECsports.com.
Fans can look for information regarding early deposits for 2015 season tickets this Saturday at the Gate 1 ticket office located inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Also, current season ticket holders will be able to renew their football tickets beginning January 7th, 2015.

Two injured players will be back at practice today, DT Leon Orr and WR Latroy Pittman. I don't give a rat's ass if Pittman ever plays again, but it would be a big deal to have Orr back for Mizzou.

I'd say move him down to 3 on the depth chart and put him on the scout team. The coaches are doing him a disservice by putting him on the field. He's been manhandled in all of the games except Eastern Michigan. The kid is going to get seriously hurt playing with the big boys.

It's Will Muschamp deferring to the senior instead of letting the younger more talented guys play.
