Depth Chart for at Mississippi State: www.gatorsports.com/2018/09/floridas-depth-chart-vs-mississippi-state/True freshman Amari Burney should be on the depth chart as he has been the backup at star in all 4 games with CJ McWilliams out plus he plays on special teams. McWilliams is expected back this week, but I expect him to move to play at CB since we are shy of depth there. Starting Jr MLB David Reese II is 6'1"/248. The height/weight listed is for freshman LB David Reese who will likely redshirt.

impressive win. uf’s d is for real. Makes me wonder about Kentucky. They manhandled us at the line, but they may not have been as bad as I thought. OSU got a nice win on the road too. Nice comeback.

impressive win. uf’s d is for real. Defense - A+ Offense - C, but improving Special Teams - B Overall - B+ The D gave an elite effort. I watched the second half of your game. It was as good as the score. It's a shame either team had to lose. JMHO, the bucknuts are a lock for the playoff.

impressive win. uf’s d is for real. Makes me wonder about Kentucky. They manhandled us at the line, but they may not have been as bad as I thought. OSU got a nice win on the road too. Nice comeback. I wish we had the UK game back, but we are exactly where I thought we'd be coming into the season. I thought we would beat UK and lose at MSU so it's a wash. Losing against UK was tough to watch. UF was in game 2 in new offensive and defensive systems. However, it can't be overstated how much the D missed David Reese II at MLB and CeCe Jefferson at DE. Reese is the QB of the defense. The defense was slow to set, if at all, and many times out of position without him. Rayshad Jackson was no real replacement for him as QB of the defense when he was out. Jefferson is a settling influence on the field reminding the other DEs to maintain their gaps and to not rush too deep past the QB which allows a breakdown of the edge defense that UK took advantage of all game long. UF was a terrible tackling team against UK too. There were more than 20 missed tackles in the UK game. They have since straightened this out too. At MSU, the D gave an elite performance. This was without CB Marco Wilson who had a season ending knee injury in the first series against UK and the loss of his replacement, Trey Dean, to a targeting call in the first quarter. UF's other CBs found a way to get it done.
