Good stuff right there. I remember the '36 game like it was yesterday! LOL The highlight of the '95 game to me was Glenn's long catch and run. After a slow start that day on offense, that may have been the back breaker for the Irish.

And then there was that asshole in 18C, 12th row who picked up some of the "gold towels" that just hit the ground and started waving them over his head and shouting RUDY!!! RUDY!!!........Trust me when I say this.......ND assholes don't like OSU assholes

I just heard that OSU defensive tackle Adolphus Washington was cited last night for solicitation. It's a first-degree misdemeanor. He will be in court next week. No word on how it might affect his status for the Fiesta Bowl. Brother

He should be suspended for the bowl game.more info came out via cpd on the washington thing. turns out the vice squad picked him up during a sting operation at the crosswoods shopping area off u.s. 23 north of 270, which surprised me some. i'm there a lot and have never seen nor even suspected seeing any solicitation there, especially on a wednesday night. washington issued a statement last night... 'i have wanted to be a high-character teammate, a contributor to the success of this program and, most importantly, someone my family can be proud of. i am extremely disappointed in myself, and i can honestly say i will learn from my mistake and i will accept the consequences that deservedly will come my way. and i hope that people will know that i am truly sorry and that i sincerely do apologize.' a couple from cincinnati who sit in front of us in 26a were big fans of adolphus (they'd met him after their son sold adolphus a car a couple years ago) and talked a lot about how good a young man he was. hate seeing him make this kind of judgement error in such a public way. in terms of consequences, meyer could announced as early as today whether or not he gets suspended for the fiesta bowl. that would be a shame, but that's what i expect to hear as well.

re: season tickets, all osu alums got an email from the athletic dept this week, announcing that 'they'd heard the comments and suggestions' from alums about how limited game ticket access had become, and that they're changing the process now. instead of a pure lottery, alums now can buy tix for 2 games (1 ooc, 1 big 10 or 'premier' game) and for a non-premier ooc game alums can buy 4 tix instead of just 2.
i'm happy for alums who don't prefer/can't afford joining the buckeye club or presidents club, or buying tix on the secondary market. that said, this is not a result of osu 'hearing the suggestions'. it's a result of the incredible increase in pricing/club membership and the effect its having on non-high profile home attendance. nothing more.

Agreed. I don't think Meyer could have gone any other way.

Ezekiel Elliott just was named the winner of the silver football by the Chicago tribune which goes to the big 10's most outstanding player. He's the 18th buckeye to win the award. Braxton Miller won it back to back in '12-'13. Kudos to zeke. Well deserved
