doubtful for the game. we will be out a couple weeks later for a long weekend. if msu and/or clemson makes it to the finale, we may add a couple days on the front end.

dispatch is reporting today that ezekiel elliott was involved in a traffic accident at 315/lane ave. before the team left for arizona sunday. he told police he hydroplaned after going over a puddle, and hit another car with 2 people in it. one suffered minor injuries but wasn't hospitalized. zeke got cited for failure to control (understandable), driving under suspension (huh?) and driving without a license (uh oh).

back to football.........looks like Dunn and Ball get to carry the ball more, unless urban the meyer decides Miller is a TB, or Jones is a QB and Barrett is a TB

there's been a whole bunch of "stepping on dicks" this year.

curtis samuel. curtis samuel. curtis samuel. if meyer were to sit zeke (a quarter? i don't think it would be for a game), samuel has earned a shot at being a featured back. and miller... no player has sacrificed more imho on this team, and no player's talents have been more under-utilized this season, than braxton. pretty certain j.t. has proven that he's the straw that stirs the drink best with this unit.

UM will probably sit him for the first half.

Zeek had an unpaid speeding ticket in May___And of course since he didnt pay in full,his license was suspended

Zeek had an unpaid speeding ticket in May___And of course since he didnt pay in full,his license was suspended

s-o-p for the c-p-d is to start collection procedures on those kind of unpaid fines these days. another life lesson... paying a fine that pisses you off can help steer you clear of worse publicity should you be involved in another car incident.

in 2008, I got a speeding ticket in the mail via traffic camera__that damn thing took a real good picture too <g>

OU had a player arrested a couple of weeks ago for the same thing...unpaid ticket and suspended license.

Well, I'm going. Got a flight into Tucson New Year's Eve day and will make the drive (2 hrs?) up to Glendale for the 11 am kick off. But this means, if sparty wins, I have to find tix for that game too for my other half.

Yes, it is just a little over two hr from the airport in Tucson...under normal conditions.  I'm still trying to run down what kind of pre-game stuff is happening, but the local news has commented several times already about the game & congestion expected Friday...
Quite a change for us this week, over what we experienced before the 03, 06, & 09 versions.  I had the grandkids all up & down the strips, enjoying the Buckeye Experience.  Now, they're grown and have 'things' going on... <sigh>

zeke said to reporters in arizona today that he wasn't aware that his driver's license had been suspended prior to his accident sunday. said that he'd lost his wallet, which had his license in it, as he was rushing to get to the hayes facility and hop on the team bus to head over to port columbus. he did have his passport on him. also said his dad is working with authorities on getting his license situation cleared up. looks like he won't miss any game time due to the accident.
