doesn't load.......but the wife has that on her phone.......refs looked away Boulware will concede that Wilkins went too far (“about four fingers deep”). He said the rest of the team has been making fun of the sophomore defensive tackle because of how much it’s blown up. “Nobody has done it as aggressive as Christian did,” Boulware said. “We try to be a little more discreet about it and poke somebody. He definitely grabbed a handful.”
-----------the internet blew up when Reynolds poked Sorgi in the throat...and this guy gets a passI the south, that wouldn't be considered "targeting"......that's a "gentleman's reach-around". Reading the response by his team mates, that happens often in the showers. PSU got sactions, Clemson gets the NCG.......go figure.

I have some thoughts but am short of time to post them at the moment. Maybe tomorrow. ^^^^^ I take it (looking at your new avatar) that you won this year? Indeed I did. I am trying to make my win a little more enjoyable for everyone else.

What he did to Samuel was not only f-ing disgusting, it was calculated and at a minimum, worthy of an ejection.

And now we get Ben Boulware's assessment of the situation...
“We’ve done it all year to mess with players. No one has done it as aggressive as Christian did. We try to be more discreet about it. He grabbed a handful. Christian went a little too far. But I’ll mess with somebody, poke them in the belly button, grab someone’s butt. People freaking out about that have never played the game or they were losers with no friends when they played. It’s annoying it’s brought so much attention to it, trying to divert the attention that we beat them by 31 points. The worst thing I’ve done all year was poke Zach Bailey in the butt. Should I really be suspended because I touched his butt? People trying to get Christian suspended for grabbing this dude’s butt — he didn’t stomp on his ankle or punch him in his private parts. He didn’t do anything but grab his butt. Is it really that big of a deal? The game is so serious and locked in, and you do stuff to break up the seriousness of the game. People are trying to say sexual assault, and people who say that have never played football, never been in a locker room, seen the weird stuff — we’re together every day for years, and you get very comfortable with each other.”
Sometimes it is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Had he placed his foot in the place his hand went, would you feel differently? To me, it's the intent that warrants the ejection. And no, it would have had absolutely no bearing on the outcome but just because Clemson was kicking our ass doesn't give the kid a free pass.

I will disagree on it being a different action simply because it is his foot. Each could be done lightly or with force but whether it is his hand or foot, the intent is the same. Either way, I am going to my best to work that last line into a comment at some point. Too funny!

Too funny! lol. i guess christian laettner claims you can do a love tap w/your foot, but in my mind that's usually a much more violent physical action. no doubt the hand can do some serious damage, but usually on a football field the hands aren't as lethal as other appendages.

There was one NFL ref that used to give "details" of the infraction......."checking the oil" would pass the "TV test" ......"fist-f-ing"........not so much

Of course, what Reynolds did warranted a one game suspension___I believe what Wilkins did warranted that as well....His teammates claimed it was locker room stuff___of course Samuels is not in their locker room but a big thumbs up for Samuels for taking the high road afterwards

The OZone reported, "J.T. Barrett's Return in 2017 Will Have OSU Offense Hitting the Ground Running" Raises some questions in my mind...we don't know for sure who the new OC is going to be. Nor how much leeway he'll be given in installing his system, or adjustments to CUFM's offense...I would think after being in 'the system' for four years, any kind of drastic changes would not be helpful in regards to JTB leading that offense. Stories are hitting the target all over the place, everything from Warinner staying, to Wilson already being named as the new OC. Of course, we still have other players with decisions to be made, from guys who may still leave, and including those incoming HS Srs who haven't announced yet. It is going to be an interesting month, for sure.

St. John Bosco offensive lineman Wyatt Davis has football in his genes
... If there’s a consensus No. 1 blocker in Southern California high school football for the 2016 season, it would be Davis, an Ohio State commit. ... Davis is well on his way to creating his own successful body of work. He has gained strength, agility and improved his footwork every season. It’s something his father, Duane, an actor beloved for his role playing Alvin Mack in the 1993 college football movie “The Program,” has always stressed. “My dad has told me to make sure every year you have marked improvement,’’ Davis said. “I have to finish it out.” Davis’ grandfather is Willie Davis, the Hall of Fame defensive end for the Green Bay Packers. His father’s portrayal of a freak-of-nature linebacker in “The Program” always produces chuckles from those who learn of his connection.

If that is normal behavior, you do have to wonder what goes on in Clemson's locker room. And Bama players better protect their "stuff" Monday night.
