When Lou Holtz says it was the right call...it's the right call. I have to admit...sitting in the stands...when he caught it...my heart stopped. Lol. Seemed hard to believe he would be that open on that play. Understand why now.

I thought there was a blatant hold on Featherston on that play where he might've gotten a sack to end it. Not sure though.

Of course you do....you hate everything at FSU., even the call that EVERYONE says was the right call!!! for someone who for years cried about the Porter call, you sure are one for doing ANY talking on the subject !! tell Kelly to be DISGUSTED with his 2 WR;s that were BLOCKING instead of going out on pass routes!!
BTW....that was not jamming the receivers, that was lowering your shoulder and blocking!!! But hey, you are more than welcome to your opinion, even thought you are dead WRONG!! Must be horrible to be a UM and UF fan in Florida these days.  |

DAMN RIGHT !!! That ref was bought and paid for....They called OPI FOR THAT ? Thatz a load of bull....NO WAY was Florida gonna lose that game...no way I'm from NY and can appreciate a good bribe when I see one !!!!  In MY book, it was a win, win....Noles won the game but didn't cover the spread....I picked ND this week   |

Hmmm... the one that I believe was actually called, the defensive back stepped forward, extended both arms into the receiver and tried to bump him. Not sure how you think the defensive back was lowering his shoulder and blocking. But when the defensive back initiates contact it is pretty hard to then give him an OPI call. But then we find out Jimbo primed the pump for that call at halftime. Personally, I'd have preferred for both teams to lose, but seeing as how FSU currently represents pretty much all that is wrong with college sports, I thought it was a shame to give them the game like that after they were beat. At least Jimbo had the good sense to grab Jameis and tell him to tone it down and try to get some of the people back on his side immediately after the game. Oh, and no, don't know about being a UF fan, but it is always great to be a Hurricane. |
