It wasn't a jam at all. A jam wouldn't have been called. LOL!!# couple of seconds, the 22-game winning streak for Florida State looked over. Notre Dame QB Everett Golson completed a two-yard TD pass to a wide open Corey Robinson. FSU had finally lost. But, a flag was thrown. Offensive pass interference was called. On further look, the Fighting Irish were in bunch formation to the right side. Two receivers blocked as if the Irish were handing the ball off to the running back, and Robinson ran an out route. Pass interference (GIF via SB Nation) It’s clear that the two receivers, C.J. Prosise and William Fuller were not running routes — they were just blocking to get Robinson open. Prosise, especially, starts blocking as soon as the ball is snapped. If he had given off the impression that he was running a route, the flag may have not been thrown. Here’s another look: Fox Sports rules analyst Mike Pereira agreed with the refs decision to throw a flag. “Both Prosise and Will Fuller’s “only intent was to block,” the former NFL referee said. Darrell....... why6 get involve din something you have no fight in other than to continue your disdain for FSU..... UM is a pathetic has been team and has been for the last 13 years, go and take your frustration out somewhere else...your whinning and crying is getting old!!!

Hmmm... the one that I believe was actually called, the defensive back stepped forward, extended both arms into the receiver and tried to bump him. Not sure how you think the defensive back was lowering his shoulder and blocking. But when the defensive back initiates contact it is pretty hard to then give him an OPI call. But then we find out Jimbo primed the pump for that call at halftime. Personally, I'd have preferred for both teams to lose, but seeing as how FSU currently represents pretty much all that is wrong with college sports, I thought it was a shame to give them the game like that after they were beat. At least Jimbo had the good sense to grab Jameis and tell him to tone it down and try to get some of the people back on his side immediately after the game. Oh, and no, don't know about being a UF fan, but it is always great to be a Hurricane. not in the last 13 years or so....and as for FSU being what is wrong with college SPORTS...as a UM fan you sure do have a SELECTIVE and SHORT memory...... BTW what is wrong with our baseball team, our basketball team or track and field team, again your HATRED of anything to do with FSU is obvious!! Go away....stay off the FSU board....GO TO THE UM BOARD HERE! lots of activity there....ROFLMAO!!!!!!

LOL!! Seriously, it's almost too easy. Naw...you mean what you are saying and your "kitten with yarn" routine is getting old .... just for you..more whinning and crying: ND's Kelly: 'Florida State blew the coverage and got rewarded' Corey Clark, Tallahassee Democrat 3:35 p.m. EDT October 19, 2014 It was one of the defining plays of the college football season so far. And certainly the most talked-about penalty. With 13 seconds left on Saturday night, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish trailing 31-27, quarterback Everett Golson hit Corey Robinson for what appeared to be a game-winning three-yard TD pass on fourth and goal. But Notre Dame's C.J. Prosise was called for offensive pass interference, negating the TD and keeping the Seminoles' school-record winning streak alive. On the play, Prosise starts blocking/grabbing FSU defensive back Jalen Ramsey almost as soon as the ball is snapped, while Robinson sneaks into the flat for a walk-in TD. Fellow Notre Dame receiver William Fuller was also blocking Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby in the end zone before the ball left Golson's hands as well.
By the very definition of the rule, it was offensive pass interference. But that doesn't mean Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly agreed with the penalty. "Florida State blew the coverage and they got rewarded for it," Kelly said to reporters on Sunday afternoon. "He did not go out of his way to impede the defender. The official that was furthest from the play thought differently."

But most of the time I keep my opinions to myself but the way you and TYH have been running around like a one armed paper hanger trying to defend your, IMHO, sociopathic QB, its been kind of fun to prime the pump and see just how many posts one little response can generate.

What is your argument again.....oh yea, you don't have one.....you just did not like the call. perhaps you and the ND coach need to learn the rule about blocking when the ball is thrown in front of and behind the LOS!!

Lou Holtz writes for the Democrat using the byline Corey Clark? I had no idea. And you should look around a bit more. There is a reason it is being called a controversial call. Just a hint, when a call is overwhelming agreed with by everyone but a few, they don't refer to it as controversial. Now jump again, a little higher this time. Good boy.

Here is one link: thebiglead.com/2014/10/19/notre-dame-got-screwed-in-tallahassee-by-the-referees/Don't know if you can link the live ESPN with Doug Flutie this morning, but he also said it was a bad call. And now the funny thing, I thought the call was on the inside receiver, #20, but Kelly says they told him it was on the other receiver on the outside. That's even worse because he ran into the end zone, the defender and him made contact and he turned to look for the ball. Then throw in another thing I didn't catch, FSU defender PJ Williams took his helmet off on the field immediately after the completion. When asked why there was no call the zebras explained that they just missed it. Even if the call was legit, which it really wasn't, the penalties should have been offsetting and the down played over again from the 2. Typical ACC game officials cluster you know what. Now bark and yip. I'm hoping for four responses to this post from you.
