Will ND be a conference game or ooc game based on their relationship with the ACC they've entered into? Either way it will be a tough schedule having ND, NU, FSU all in the same season. Agree...that is a tough roe to how.
Or a tough row to hoe. Damn, I hate typos.

I don't know if it will be considered a conference game or not. I am not sure exactly what the relationship with ND and the ACC actually is at this point. I guess nobody will be accusing us of scheduling cupcakes for the year though. If we can run that schedule and go 3 & 0 it should put to rest any lingering questions about Miami being back.

Needing help on the defensive line, Miami announced today that Wisconsin transfer David Gilbert, Virginia transfer Justin Renfrow and Butler CC transfer Ufomba Kamalu have cleared admissions and practiced with the team for the first time today. Gilbert and Renfrow are seniors while Kamalu is a junior.

Can't believe we continue to wait for the NCAA to rule on sanctions. General feeling of fans now is they will announce right before the Florida game trying to screw with us one last time. Sick and tired of these bastards.

Can't believe we continue to wait for the NCAA to rule on sanctions. I can believe it. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about it. If they have proven anything over the last few years, they are going to maximize their time in the spotlight as long as they possibly can, even if that means more negative press.

Candy canes cut Dyron Dye. It's a good thing the new DL depth came in:
By TIM REYNOLDS AP Sports Writer

Miami says defensive lineman Dyron Dye will no longer be part of the football program.
Dye was the only player left on the roster who had ties to the Nevin Shapiro scandal, which has hovered over the program since 2011. The NCAA says Dye lied during at least one of his three interviews about the Shapiro case, and Dye says he testified a certain way in 2011 because his eligibility was being threatened by an investigator.
Miami says it based the decision on "unresolved issues regarding the NCAA investigation."
Dye already has his Miami degree. He was on scholarship at the school since enrolling in 2009. His status for this year was already in serious doubt after he needed surgery to repair an Achilles' injury following the spring practice season.

I feel sorry for Dye, but not sorry enough to risk playing him only to have him declared ineligible later.

Miami lands commitment from four-star WR Braxton Berrios
By Dieter Kurtenbach, Sun Sentinel 12:34 p.m. EDT, October 12, 2013
Earlier this week, Braxton Berrios wore a t-shirt that boldly stated "I don't know yet."
The highly recruited receiver out of North Carolina will have to remove that shirt from his wardrobe — Berrios announced today that he's committed to the University of Miami.
Berrios chose Miami over Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Oregon.
"It's all about the 'U' baby," Berrios said after committing in a ceremony at his school. "It felt like home. The coaching staff was great. I felt that everything was like a family."
Miami fans can count on Berrios to make an immediate impact once he arrives in Coral Gables. He'll factor in the slot, but can be used as an all-around offensive weapon, including in the backfield.
Miami offered Berrios in July and he officially visited the school at the beginning of September for the UM-Florida game.
Berrios is Miami's 26th commitment for the 2014 class.
Another UM commitment from that class, quarterback Brad Kaaya went to Twitter to express his joy with Berrios' commitment. Kaaya had used Twitter to recruit the 5-foot-8, 170-pound athlete.

This is OK Darrell. Just stay away from Ermon Lane. (G)

I think we only want Lane if we don't land Dixon now.
