It won't be as ugly as it will be it late November, but it will be a blood bath. I will be surprised if we are not at least competitive Saturday night, but honestly, won't matter at all in the grander scheme. When Golden came in I felt it would take three recruiting classes plus a year to get back to the top ten consistently. Amazingly, with the NCAA hanging over the head and having to deal with all the bullshit negative recruiting for the last two years, the job that Golden and his staff have done is amazing. What I have seen of this staffs ability to recruit, we would probably be there now if not for the whole Shapiro mess and most of us are excited to see what they can do on the recruiting trail now that they don't have to convince kids that coaches telling them that we are getting the death penalty and Golden is leaving are just full of shit. |

Good first half. Should be tied up if the don't blow Duke dead when they pulled his flag. ESPN said FSU would cover the spread in the first quarter. Guess not.

You kann definatly see that Miami is TRYING to put up a good fight (literally, lol) but in the end, it sure loox like the Noles are gonna cover the spread and move on with nary a worry....Good and bad.... |

Yep. Had to be perfect with no mistakes. Third quarter killed any chance we had. Coley had them beat deep for a TD and Morris under threw him. Then Coley again later open for a TD and didn't make the play.

Well, the 'Canes gave it a good shot but came up short. Worst news of the night is Duke apparently has a broken ankle ankle nd his season is done. So now we have lost our top running back and top receiver for the year. |

Once they replayed it a few times (with perfect camera angle I might add,,,,,jeesh), it was definatly an ugly thing....I feel bad for the guy fer sure ser sure....I've broken both my ankles (2 different occasions) and its no picnic..... |
