Clase is giving me Jose Mesa flashbacks thought clase looked pretty shaken on the mound tonight after that 2nd hit allowed... just dumbfounded that what's worked for an entire season has done a 180 in the last 2 weeks. He should just throw cutters with every pitch...its what got him there.....Sandy Alomar told Mesa in Game 7 to just throw the heater, its what got them there oh well im ranting

There's something about closers and field goal kickers when they fail on the big stage. They have a hard time coming back from it. .02Big mental game, that’s for sure.

Our guys in the middle of the lineup... Jose, Thomas Naylor and Noel hitting 1-15 failed us ... Weaver throwing change-ups and these guys couldn't make the adjustments... Yankees were patient and confident knowing that the big hit will be coming from their sluggers...still a great series

In addition to so often not being able to get a key hit in the middle of the lineup, our best in the majors bullpen gave up six home runs in five games I think. No doubt about how powerful the NY lineup is, but they were so close and so many games. That said if you had told me at the beginning of the year that Cleveland would make the championship series I would have bought it a great year with obviously room for improvement.
