OSU/Up starts a half hour before Cle/Detroit.... Detroit really wanted to close out the series last night to save their ace for game 1 vs NY....Now Guards have to hit Skobal to advance. Tough task ahead. they've hit him before, so it's not like that hasn't happened. should take some confidence in seeing him once just a few days ago. it's way past time to clinch a series at home. just like the 11 straight elimination game losses, I think the last time cleveland won a series at home was vs the yanks in '97, wasn't it? I had to fact check you on that...lol...and you're right about clinching at home vs NY...I had to check because I thought we clinched at home vs Baltimore in the ALCS . |

I thought vogt overmanaged the pitchers… clase should never pitch as many innings as a starter who gave up just 1 hit and 1 bb while striking out 5… but it worked. kwan and rocchio had great series at the plate and thomas bookended it w authority. time for the club w the 3rd world payroll to take down ny!  |
