Nice little doubleheader sweep for KC. were it not for 4 doubleheader results so far in '24, cleveland would have 8 less losses. lol. regardless of how this year ends up (and kc may just sprint to the division by 9/30/24), the royals are set for about a 5-10 yr run as a contender if they can stay healthy. witt jr is robin yount reincarnated imho. the kid showed signs last season but he's busting out now. 5 tool star. team is fun to watch, |

KC never quit__even down 9 games behind at one point this season.....all 3 teams kc,minny,and Cleveland can make the playoffs. That would be cool. Going to be hard to beat the Yankees in the ALCS but maybe one of them gets hot. keeping judge and soto and stanton et al in the park in that yankee stadium bandbox will be next to impossible. if a team can get home field advantage that might be the difference. royals look solid but they do have a tough stretch of games here the next couple weeks. |

Extremely tough. And Lugo and Regans are both struggling a little as they have thrown more innings this year than ever before. |

Did any of y'all see the video last week of Salvy playing wiffle ball with a bunch of neighborhood kids in KC? He had gone on a day off to visit a friend, saw a bunch of kids playing wiffle ball in a yard and stopped and asked to play with them. A mom saw it and took video of them. He really is just a big kid.

He really is just a big kid. he's been a key on the field and w/his approach in the clubhouse. from a cleveland standpoint, today's game isn't a must mathematically but imho it sure is psychologically. |
