“He looks at me and he says, ‘Oh, she wasn't driving.’ I said, 'Her beloved Corvette, she wasn't driving it?’ He goes, 'Senator Biden was driving it.’ And I went, ‘What?’” Stevenson said.

Stevenson said he confronted Jill at the time, but “she didn’t say anything” and “just looked at me.”

“I said, ‘You gotta go. You gotta go get your own place,’” Stevenson said.

Jill and Stevenson's divorce decree was issued in May 1975. {Remember the famous Blind Date was in March of 1975}He says the divorce became contentious when Jill asked for a share of The Stone Balloon, which he says a judge denied.


Interesting that in 1975 the wife petitioned for half of the business and it was denied. That was a rare, very rare occurrence in the 70's. Face it, Joe was banging his babysitter. And you wonder where Hunter gets his morals. Also remember Joe refusing to acknowledge or have anything to do with his granddaughter. Now that is a real piece of crap.
