If Frenchie can't deliver a win over Ole Miss, yes, FSU was screwed for a big game not having Maguire. Ole Miss is going to win in Orlando. I get to pick against FSU and get points to boot. It doesn't get better than that.
Insofar as the season is concerned, I was just using the opportunity to shovel some crap on your parade like you do with so much pleasure when addressing me. However, I do see nolie losses to Clemson and UF so in that sense FSU is screwed compared to their lofty preseason ranking. FSU's 9-3 record will probably get you back to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

Ohio State junior defensive tackle Tracy Sprinkle suffered a significant knee injury late in the first quarter in Saturday's game against Bowling Green.
Urban Meyer confirmed after the game that Sprinkle has been lost for the season due to a patella tendon injury.

Starting slot WR Dre Massey tore his ACL in the first half against UMass. He is out for the season. He came in a JUCO with 3 to play 2 so he'll take a redshirt and play 17 and 18.

All-everything safety Derwin James suffered a knee injury yesterday for FSU. No word yet on severity but it would be a huge blow to our defense if he's lost. I hope it isn't season ending. James is such a great player and it would be terrible for him to have to miss a season of play.
UF lost starting MLB Andra Davis to a season ending knee injury while playing against a not very good Ball State team. Andra went on to a good NFL future. I always worry about losing starters when playing these over matched teams. The Citadel chop blocked 2 UF DL into season ending injuries a few years back.

Tennessee starting LB Darrin Kirkland, Jr. is out for Ohio and likely out for Florida with an ankle sprain. He had 16 tackles in the first 2 games. It's a tough stretch to miss if it's a dreaded high ankle sprain. After Ohio this week, the vols have a tough stretch starting with Florida on 9/24, at Georgia on 10/1, at Texas A&M on 10/8, and Alabama on 10/15.
