Hermine would kick everyone's asses. I've now been awake/working for about 40 hours. There is still probably 60-70% of the Big Bend without power. That Cat 1 opened a can of whoop ass on us, and caused me to miss the first night of CFB, and with how fucked up everything still is here, I'm probably gonna miss the Gators opener. The media isn't reporting just how bad it is here, but if FSU were playing in Tally, no doubt it would have been canceled. That was the weirdest (and most destructive) Cat 1 I have ever seen. So, that vicious life-sucking bitch from which there is no escape picks all underdogs left on the card in my name. Just curious if I can get a "cowering under my desk during a hurricane" consideration about Thursday night from Trn. Hang in there lz.

Glad to hear you are still kicking LZ, we have only 19 roads closed here in SC, you took the brunt of the real storm damage. It was 15 miles north of my Nephews and his family.

Y'all be careful. This morning, we had a 5.6 magnitude earthquake. Hope it's not a bad omen.

Through the first 4 games, we're already down to two at 4-0, Mike and Harry. I think we have more folks below the Mendoza Line than above it.

Wake up little Sooners, wake up.... . Stupid penalties extended two drives. Can't do that crap and beat a good team. And make no mistake, Houston is a good team.

Lost my laser eyed yellow lab, Kelly Girl, last yr who did well picking games for me a cpl of three years ago. Son #2 came home this summer from school to do his final internship w a beautiful black lab F puppy named Lily. Now 7 mo old and a tall & fit 70 lbs, he's been working w her every day. So, to test her out I had him do a set double retrieves w one dummy labeled LSU and one labeled UW. First one back is the contest winner. 4 retrieves each thrown out at a 45 deg angle. Alternated L&R. Wisky each time. The last two times she went back and forth a cpl of times. Close game she is predicting. Now Mutt could still be happy. She's selecting V the spread. LSU -10 vs. Wisconsin - Wisky LONG LIVE LILY - BLACK LABS RULE

What Walt said, except substitute "LSU" for "USC." Hell, at least USC lost to the #1 team in the country. I don't see ANYONE beating Alabama this year. USC can take SOME solace in that.
LSU just plain got their asses whipped by a lesser conference team. Les Miles doesn't have enough f-ing sense to find a REAL quarterback. You can't win with a happy-footed rubber-armed backyard QB trying to play college football.
When everyone said I was "poor mouthing" before the game ........ they should have listened.

Truly one of the lowest points in USC FOOTBALL history... The SEC Network stated it was the 3rd worse loss in USC history. The crapola with the coaching and AD did set the Trojans back a year. Two observations. First, I think the USC coaches were overwhelmed by the moment more than the players were. Three T-Os in the first quarter of your first game? Two in 10 seconds? That's on the coaches. Second, the SC O line was vastly over-rated. They looked slow... like a big 10 O-line from 1988 slow. The D front 7 was the big q-mark and I thought they played well, but obviously have zero depth. Altogether, I would say they are at least two solid recruiting classes away from respectibility. Don't know what to say about the coaching however...They need as much improvement as the players, and that isn't a good thing.

Did you see the long line of former players and staff that came to mid field after the game to shake his hand? Imo though, LK has grown a lot the past 2-3 years under Saban. He's going to get another shot somewhere.

He's going to get another shot somewhere.Don't agree. He was canned because he lost the team. You don't come back from that. He may indeed get another shot, it won't be at a top program. I've seen Kiffin the head coach and it isn't pretty. He doesn't like the media or the spotlight, is more an X-O guy than head coach rah-rah guy and needs a guy like Carroll or Sabin to front for him. If I were him I'd set my sights on becoming known as "the greatest offensive coordinator in college football".
