Then again, being #5 didn't help LSU much on Saturday.
On a different note, for Wisconsin to rise from unranked to #10 on the basis of one win over LSU seems to indicate that same folks think LSU is still pretty good. However, I still say LSU ain't gonna do much until they get a QB who can pass and NOT panic. A sack isn't good; neither is intentional grounding, but they both beat an INT.
You can be +1 every week and darn near win this thing. That would put you at +14 after the conference championship games. Mark ran off and hid the year before last, something like +36, but the other winners have been in the upper teens if I'm remembering correctly. No, I don't think Mike will maintain his lofty performance achieved in week 1.

Want to correct the above. The following are the 1st and 2nd place finishers for 13, 14, and 15. There was a 12 season too, Trn won 12 & 13, but I don't see the 12 season results:
2012 Trn won - don't see a thread for it
2013 Trn won at +24; cwg & daleko tied for second at +14
2014 Mark won at +35; Gatr was second at +13
2015 Gatr won at +27; bucknutdale finished second at +23
Not knowing Trn's 2012 score and the second place score, it looks like you will have to score from mid 20s to mid 30s to win this thing.
It also looks like we have 15 weeks instead of 14. Going + 1 every week will likely get you into the top 2 to 4 performers, but it's unlikely that performance can win.

I didn't play in 12, but I think it was 10 games in 13. I went back to the time period, but I couldn't find a thread for the 12 season.
