Yeah...you go beyond misguided to ridiculous...when I was a platoon sergeant, I always told my guys that I wasn't going to come around and check them for underage drinking...but if they sat in their rooms and got drunk, and then got stupid and caused shit to happen, underage drinking would be added to their charges. Sort of like the seat belt laws...you don't get pulled over for not wearing your seat belt. But if you're pulled over for speeding AND aren't wearing your seat belt... You do in Florida. I've paid $250 for two infractions in the last year driving a tenth of a mile from my office to a place to buy lunch. Florida uses it as a revenue stream, and a Trooper friend told me there is an unofficial quota they are required to write. The second fine was actually amusing, the FHP Trooper who pulled me over couldn't have been older than 22, and he was actually apologetic. Fastest traffic stop I ever had, probably lasted 2 minutes. Back on topic, I actually agree with Walt on this one. Waterboarding is not something our country should endorse, even if it is "mild" torture. His understanding on why Japanese war criminals were executed, however, are like many of his other views, rather warped. .1 of a mile is 528 ft. Why not walk? Now THAT is lazy!!!!
Seriously though, I think it is pathetic that a liberal would worry about a terrorist's discomfort while having no problem with the pain and suffering an unborn baby goes through when it is torn apart or burned alive by an abortionist. THIS is why liberals are so damn disgusting. They have NO feelings for the truly innocent.

He said it and I repeated it. IMO there is only one person in government qualified to speak on the subject, and I am proud to be on his side of the argument and you should be ashamed if you aren't.

But you are NOT ashamed of being on the side of the pain and suffering an unborn baby goes through when it is torn apart or burned alive by an abortionist. That speaks VOLUMES.
And our gov't policies are NOT set by one man who is NOT the President of the U.S. If McCain wanted to run things, he should have gotten himself elected President. Apparently not that many people trust his judgment. This time it is YOU is shot down, trying to hide behind John McCain, whose reasoning is obviously flawed..

Did you miss the part that I said I agreed with you? You need to go back to your roots and take a few hits (apparently it's stronger now) or swallow a 714 or two. Since Trump has been elected, uptight does not begin to describe you.

I don't know that I endorse it...I'm just saying it isn't like the pictures we see of what happened in Asia from the 1930s thru the 70s. Is it pleasant? HELL no...but then, neither are sit ups. If I had been able to make it thru life with water boarding as the worst thing that ever happened to me, I would have considered myself very, VERY fortunate.

Oh yeah...about that seatbelt thing...I didn't know that...of course, I was in an accident when I was 17, and the seatbelt saved my life. So I wear mine religiously...

You're eight years too late to follow MehCain...think of the pain you'd have saved yourself. But I think it's funny for you to use that rationale; you, whose idea of torture is having to drink instant coffee instead of your fufu late...

Bottom line.. Donald Trump said he favors torture. He didn't say things that might be considered torture. He said he favors torture. Who agrees with him that this should be US policy? Speak up! Those radical terrorists who blow up buildings killing dozens or the guys cutting off the heads of innocent journalists certainly deserve to be tortured imo

It's that piece of paper that we've been following for a few hundred years. Whether they deserve it or not, Americans don't go there.

It's that piece of paper that we've been following for a few hundred years. Whether they deserve it or not, Americans don't go there. U.S. intelligence agencies say that waterboarding is effective. You know, those same people you claim Trump has dissed. Trump has said that he will not order waterboarding, nor shall he forbid it. Unlike his foolish predecessor, he will leave this decision to those who know more about the issue than HE does.
The Constitution also says no one can lose his life without due process. Abortion prevents a baby (or his legal representative) from arguing his case for life. A baby gets no due process, therefore his rights are violated. But f-word that innocent baby, right Walt? MURDER the baby, pamper the terrorist!!!!!
You are actually becoming sickening in your support of America's enemies coupled with your disdain for good Americans.
