You do in Florida. I've paid $250 for two infractions in the last year driving a tenth of a mile from my office to a place to buy lunch. Florida uses it as a revenue stream, and a Trooper friend told me there is an unofficial quota they are required to write. The second fine was actually amusing, the FHP Trooper who pulled me over couldn't have been older than 22, and he was actually apologetic. Fastest traffic stop I ever had, probably lasted 2 minutes. Back on topic, I actually agree with Walt on this one. Waterboarding is not something our country should endorse, even if it is "mild" torture. His understanding on why Japanese war criminals were executed, however, are like many of his other views, rather warped. .1 of a mile is 528 ft. Why not walk? Now THAT is lazy!!!!
Seriously though, I think it is pathetic that a liberal would worry about a terrorist's discomfort while having no problem with the pain and suffering an unborn baby goes through when it is torn apart or burned alive by an abortionist. THIS is why liberals are so damn disgusting. They have NO feelings for the truly innocent.
LZ is not a liberal. A liberal would ride a girl's bicycle the .1 mile to save the planet, the children and the kittens. Especially the kittens.

What separates us from them except the rule book? And knowing the difference between right and wrong Is slavery right or wrong? Forcibly exterminating native Americans and taking their land...right or wrong? Point being that our own history has instances where we took actions that were questionable in the area of right/wrong. The bottom line is we've signed treaties where we've agreed with the majority of the civilized world that water boarding is torture, illegal, and we won't be a part of it. I understand the fury of the example of if it were your wife/daughter...however, in the tragic instance where your wife is murdered, it doesn't make legal your killing the murderer at some later date after beating the confession out of him.

I'm starting to like you, Cb. I already asked Walt if he would approve waterboarding to save his wife's life, but he ducked the question. Apparently she has no value to him. That's sad. If someone pulled that shit on my family I would go John Wick on that ass I approve this message, and am patiently waiting for John Wick 2.

I'd be wanting revenge, but I couldn't, nor would I, ask or condone my government violating the Constitution and the treaties it signed, to exact said revenge.

You might want to read what your Constitution has to say on the subject. It's that piece of paper that we've been following for a few hundred years. Whether they deserve it or not, Americans don't go there. U.S. intelligence agencies say that waterboarding is effective. You know, those same people you claim Trump has dissed. Trump has said that he will not order waterboarding, nor shall he forbid it. Unlike his foolish predecessor, he will leave this decision to those who know more about the issue than HE does.
The Constitution also says no one can lose his life without due process. Abortion prevents a baby (or his legal representative) from arguing his case for life. A baby gets no due process, therefore his rights are violated. But f-word that innocent baby, right Walt? MURDER the baby, pamper the terrorist!!!!!
You are actually becoming sickening in your support of America's enemies coupled with your disdain for good Americans."Becoming" turned into "became" long ago.

A radical Muslim claiming allegiance to isis abducts your wife or child and televises their beheading on Facebook wouldn't you want to torture or kill jehadi Johnny? Yes or no? You're new here...WALLt doesn't answer questions like that...

What I may "want" and what the law allows are not the same thing. Look, if you think we should repeal the 8th Amendment to the Constitution, just say so. In the meantime, if you do 'go Wick' on the killer, we can all understand, but expect to go to jail.

There are also laws and treaties re: Cutting innocent folks heads off and blowing up friendly embasseys over seas. That probably violates some treaty as well but it doesn't stop Habib from loading up his Honda civic with 1000lbs of explosives and driving into a crowded market.

Actually it's the other way around, my entire point revolves around this type of torture directed towards radical islamists seeking to kill Americans just because their religion says they will be blessed in the eyes of their God for it. Believe they call it jehad or something
