Claptron murdered Duane because Duane ruined Layla with that f-in bird thing at the end of the song. And yet the signature riff was Duane's creation, which EVERYONE instantly recognizes. Wanna try again?

When Claptron finally heard the record after it came out and that Duane had put that f-in bird thing back in the mix behind Claptron's back it is rumored that Claptron said that Duane would not see Halloween that year...

Come on, man. This thread has dragged out into 5 pages that no one cares about. Who are you ........ Williegirl? Time to move on, or start talking about ammunition again.

LOL........dunno, but his first son can play a guitar.......... Yeah, Dweezil was in all the guitar magazines back in the 80's. Every 2 or 3 months a new guitarslinger would come along. But where are Reb Beach, George Lynch, Dweezil, Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell, and 1000 more now? They are all wheedly-deedly players, and that style has come and gone.well here's one of 'em fun stuff...........but only if you enjoyed "dad"

Infinitely more enjoyable than the Allmen Sisters.

Infinitely more enjoyable than the Allmen Sisters. And Dweezil is playing a much better guitar than a hardware store Stratocrapper. Gibsons RULE, especially Les Pauls and SGs. Fender can't even figure out how to hook a neck to a body without needing ugly-ass screws and bolts that make the neck heel about as comfortable as sitting on cactus. Square block heels for square blockHEADS.

Or 300gr XTP underwoodammo.com/shop/44-remington-magnum-300-grain-xtp-jacketed-hollow-point/Our standard pressure .44 Magnum cartridges are perfectly safe in any firearm in good working condition. Underwood Ammo™ XTP rounds are notable for their power and accuracy. We utilize Hornady™ eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) bullets which are designed for deep terminal penetration, great accuracy and controlled expansion. We combine Hornady™ unparalleled XTP bullets with our own carefully formulated design which results in one lethal round. As with all of Underwood Ammo™ rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light. While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals. Until the development of the Ducta-Bright 7a process, nickel plating casings often limited the number of reloads as compared to raw brass. It was claimed that nickel plated brass casings embrittled the brass therefor making it less desirable for reloaders despite the ease of cleanup that nickel plating offers. In addition, ammunition engineers raising concerns of using nickel plating in very hot +P or magnum loads found that traditional nickel plating often cracked deep-drawn cases, or worse, lead to a total failure. This new process eliminates any concern, to the shooter or reloader, of hazard or ability to re-use the brass. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases. Technical Information: Caliber:44 Magnum Bullet Weight: 300 Grains Bullet Style: Jacketed Hollow Point Case Type:Ducta-Bright 7a Nickel Plated Brass Ballistics Information: Muzzle Velocity: 1300 fps Muzzle Energy: 1126 ft. lbs.

Back on topic. I need to fatten my underwater .44mag stash. Hmm... does Speer make a Gold Dot .44mag round?? Not that it matters much... it's a .44fuckinmag! They make (2) .44 Gold Dot loads ...... one with a 210 gr bullet, and one with a 200 grain "short barrel" load. The short barrel load will probably have a faster burning powder so your gun won't look like Godzilla when you fire it. Slower burning powders are better with longer barrels. Or buy the bullets alone and work up your own handloads.

I have a bunch of GD .44 Special just in case I ever decide to carry this monster!

That's the BIG advantage to the revolver. It doesn't throw empty cases all over the crime scene.

I have a bunch of GD .44 Special just in case I ever decide to carry this monster! The .44 Special with the right bullet loaded to faster than the old RN standard is a damn good round. I was all set to buy the New Charter Bulldog as my new carry gun till I changed my mind and chose the G30S instead. .45 and .44 Spcl are pretty close, but I can't find a .45 cal 11 shot revolver.
This is what I carry in my Colt Agent: www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=108
If I had a .44 Spcl, I'd load it with THIS: www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=89
Just MY choices, of course.
I haven't tried any of these in my .45s yet, and the price kinda discourages a lot of test firing. www.buffalobore.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=214

BB is good stuff. Black Hills is even better. I never buy the stuff though. Too damn expensive. I have never tried Black Hills for the same reason. The good news is that I can handload ammunition to ALMOST those same factory specs, but my everyday loadings are lighter for practice purposes. Reloading manuals are great for telling you just how far you can push a particular caliber. Naturally the warn you about matching or exceeding the maximum published loads, and I NEVER match the max load. .1 or .2 grains less than the top load will get you close enough to max and still leave a safe margin of error.
And FTR, ALL quality manufacturers make excellent loads. I look at a bunch of similar rounds from different people and think "ANY of these will work for what I want to do." So for me, buying good factory ammo comes down to price, with all other things more or less being equal for a particular bullet weight and type.
I have three favorite bullet shapes --- LSWC or SWCHP, JHP, or FMJ (ball). I feel comfortable using any of them.
