UF swept aTm 3-0. The Gators are tied in the loss column at 1 with UK, but have a 1 game lead in the SEC standings having played 2 more SEC matches.

UF beat Auburn 3-1. The Gators will move to Columbia, Mo. to play the 3rd best team in the SEC. With a win, UF will lock up at least a share of the SEC championship. The team that can tie UF due to splitting the regular season is Kentucky. It will be an upset if UK loses and especially so since UF gets Mizzou on Saturday: floridagators.com/news/2017/11/22/volleyball-no-3-gators-top-auburn-move-closer-to-sec-title.aspxRegardless of the outcome on Saturday, I expect UF to be one of the top four seeds when the NCAA tourney field is announced on Saturday. UF has played one of the strongest schedules in the nation with success. The Gators are deserving of a top 4 seed. I'd just rather have them playing as SEC champion. |
