No Florida State at Miami yet you put up BYU at Utah State for Bam? That is a BS decision. BYU at Utah State is lousy. You could at least add FSU at Miami as a 16th game. We had 16 games in week 2.

My lamentations as to the shittiness of the season shouldn't interfere with your picks. FSU/Miami is a national rivalry, and unless there are a mountain of better choices, IMO, it should be on the list. I don't generally like it because I'm always going to pick FSU because my heart is in that pick, and not my head.

Certain games should always be on the list. Records be damned.

Well, that's the thing I was thinking about last night. FSU at Miami with a 13 point spread and FSU has looked awful on the road so far this season? All else being equal, who's watching that game? I doubt I will be.
I get what you're talking about though, and perhaps I should be more respectful of such rivalries, but for instance, I seriously doubt USC/UCLA is going to make the list this season unless The Chipper gets his act together in a big fat hurry. Now granted FSU isn't UCLA, but you get my point. It's a big game for folks in SoCal, but will you watch it out east? Doubtful. In fact, you might not even get the chance to watch it unless it's on ESPN5 or 7

I probably wouldn't watch it even if both teams were ranked, but I'd have it on my list because USC/UCLA is a nationally known and recognized rivalry.

I get that FSU isn't doing well, so I understand why it might not be so appealing, but that's what the spread is for. It makes games where the outcomes might be somewhat foregone (although I don't think FSU losing is a foregone conclusion), suddenly interesting.

And like I said, if we had 15 other games that were more interesting in a given week, I could understand leaving them out. But Syracuse/Pitt? That's a pretty meh game. Pitt just got the shit beaten out of them by UCF.

You're the big cheese...and I don't wanna run it anymore, so I will absolutely defer to your decisions. Just this one was a head scratcher for me. And last week you left off BYU-Washington, when both teams were ranked. Another head scratcher. Just trying to figure out how you go about your picks.

It's too heavy western weighted. I count 5 games including Navy at Air Force. It seems like Arizona has been on the list every week and they disappoint every time with what was supposed to be a Heisman caliber QB in Khalil Tate. BYU at Utah State completely sucks and shouldn't be on the list while Arizona is snoozer.  

There is 1 game from the B1G, but Maryland at Michigan is the battle of 1 loss teams.

OU vs. UTex is it from the Big 12 too. Iowa State at Oklahoma State is a good game.

Florida State at Miami is a no brainer, except for this week obviously. Syracuse at Pitt is a joke by comparison. I like having Clemson on the list as the tigers are going to have to cover that spread on the road with a 3rd string QB.

It adds up to an unimpressive list of picks this week.
