LOL.....got this baby back out of the fridge and into the crock....put in some Apple Cider vinager, ketchup, splash of lemon.....Low and slow for a few hours to re-hydrate and warm it up so I can rip it apart and prepare for glory .....Time to get some nice Kieser rolls  |

Yeah, and it came out fine but it really wasn't worth all that effort...The shoulder was small to begin with so after all said/ done, there wasn't alot of meat to knaw on...Dammit......The flavor was pretty much spot-on Carolina twang but I feel confident i coulda done the same with just the crockpot and a decent vinegar-based sauce......Still, it was fun to try.... Next time though, I'm gonna get a big-ass BRISS-KUTT and let it go 12 -14 hrs in the smoker ..... |
