down 3-0 w/just 2 hits entering the 7th, the guards tie it w/3 and then in the 8th clement scores from 2nd on a wild pitch. another come from behind win against the twins. sox also losing at detroit 2-0 right now. oops. now 2-2.

Impressed with pitcher Konnor Pilkington. 6'3 240lb hard throwing left-hander pitched 5 and 2/3 innings last night giving up just 1 hit. Give him the ball again in 5 days my sis, bro in law (boardman) and a couple of their kids were at the game last night. my nephew stuck it out til the end (he was going to the browns game today and staying downtown) but sis et al said that's it after 13 innings. can't believe I got home from the tosu game at 11:15 and still got to watch 3 innings of baseball that began 5 hrs before. white sox won today too, to lead over them is back to 3 1/2, 6 over the twins after today's loss. hoping quantrill continues his home magic on the mound. a win basically buries minnesota. rainy am but should clear up by first pitch at 1 pm. |
