They got swept by the worst team in baseball in KC last week when they absolutely needed to win...beating Baltimore yesterday and winning 7-6 right now in the 8th is a good feeling to finish strong Hey, hey, hey..... KC has lost 102 games but Oakland has 108 losses. As a Royals fan it's been frustrating yet kind of fun. They finally dumped the old plan of signing older vets and played a lot of kids this year. I think it's 5 or 6 pitchers have had season ending injuries as well as losing Pasquatino for the year to surgery. Witt improved dramatically, Garcia and Massey emerged and they now have potential gold gloves all around the infield. Next year should be better. Haven't seen much of them, but was impressed by them when the Dodgers played thru last month. You could see potential.

They have I think 102 losses yet have won 10 of their last 11 against division leaders.
