Our gun enthusiasts never post about the mass shootings.
I often do, but we've had more than one per day in the U.S. this year.
It's hard to keep track lately.

It only matters to the Liberals when the shooter is a white guy wearing a MAGA hat. If they can't make it All About Trump they simply ignore it.

Just protecting your 2nd A rights. Dead people, lots of them, is just the price of freedom. But hey! 'Thoughts and prayers', right?

guess I didn't think to look on the politics folder for a mass shooting story. sorry. yes, my preference would be a country w/o guns. that's unrealistic. some would prefer the entire populace be armed. imho that's also unrealistic and would only lead to more gun violence in the spur of angry moments than is already happening. there has to be point where a compromise can be made between those 2 extremes, whether it's making firearms laws/licensing/requirements consistent between states, background checks, an effective data base of gun owners, etc. would it eliminate the guns in the public domain already in the hands of those who'd do harm to others? or immediately stop the senseless violence? obviously not. but at some point we must shut the door on this. regardless of any political party posturing, our country should not be leading the civilized world in gun violence/deaths. I believe the right to bear arms can and must co-exist with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in a much safer way. too too many innocent people, especially children, teens and young adults are paying the price with their lives in the u.s. right now.

You want to limit the many because of the criminality of the extreme few? It's not the many you should be concerned about. It's the few that will keep on using guns no matter how much the government limits the many. The guns are already out there. This control rhetoric will keep marching down the merry path until the consensus is to completely disarm the population, and then all we're left with is the few still having guns and the rest of us helpless at the business end of a muzzle. There needs to be a lot more aggressiveness by LE on the bad guys with guns, not the guns themselves. That's where the focus needs to be, not on the rest of us and our constitutional right. Use a gun in a violent crime, get the needle, lights out. End of story.

I assume you do too. suggest a better solution, then, please? you're talking about tougher punishment for those who've already pulled the trigger. lots of these shooters end up ending their own life so I don't think 'getting the needle' solves this.
