No,
We do NOT. The incident happened on May 20, and a full investigation can take quite some time. The evidence we have is the slanted testimony from the bunch of parasites who are looking to get rich off a lawsuit, and whatever they get, they will bow before the now 11 year old ever comes of age to get HIS share.
Let's allow the HONEST INVESTIGATION to run its course.
Oh yes the "we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong" bullshit cops get away with. I'd love for someone to go into court and use that once for a defense and see what happens. Cops get to do it why shouldn't we "Judge I investigated myself for this speeding ticket and found I wasn't speeding"

Sometimes they actually win.
Whether you like it or not, comrade, people in this country are innocent until proven guilty, and that includes cops. So go sit in your corner, suck your thumb, and be a cop hater all by yourself.
No one here cares what YOU think.

No not defend themselves. Find themselves not guilty Can I find myself not guilty? Cops can. They can go "we did nothing wrong" and that's it. No trial No court no judge No jury. Case closes. Cops claimed they were innocent it's all over Can I do that?

Which, in fact, is what happened when your father brought in another hunter, our own Marc, to defend him V the Ohio DNR and got him off for shooting his "assault rifle" at a home.

Cops claimed they were innocent it's all over Can I do that? You are wrong again. In most (probably ALL) officer involved shootings, an outside agency, generally of higher power, will investigate the legality of the shooting. The agency itself can determine if their officer violated departmental policy. Those are two completely separate issues.
Yes, you can declare yourself not guilty of a traffic violation. However, the court will not recognize it, unless the officer fails to show up to testify against you. In most cases like that, the charge will be dismissed, and the officer could have a bench warrant issued for him for failure to appear, AND be sanctioned for violation of departmental policy.
You can certainly employ any argument you wish in court. Maybe one will work. Others will get you laughed at, and some may even get you charged with contempt of court. Just don't try the sovereign citizen argument.

But actually it is. Nearly all settlements come with a statement saying its not admitting guilt or they don't admit any wrong doing They just say settling is cheaper than going to trial

Someone that will gladly look the other way and declare me innocent and then case closed. No more investigation or trial or anything Marc was going to defend my dad but my dad took a plea before he could And if you think my dad's old bolt action gun is an "assault rifle" you may need to do some more research

But it's still cops investigating cops I want my own family to investigate me. And when they say I didn't do anything that's the final verdict

He would have won. Small world though.

An OIS will usually be investigated by the DA's office, and possibly the state Attorney General if it involves a state agency.
Give up. All you are doing is reinforcing your prejudice against police officers. Those same people you hate will DIE protecting your sorry ass if necessary. Would you die protecting one of THEM?

If it was accidental, you have no right owning a gun. Unless it is an emergency situation, you must ALWAYS know what is beyond your target. Even in an emergency, you can be held liable if you shoot the wrong person or damage property.
