It would be like Gundy going from the frying pan into the fire at UF. Jeremy Foley is the best AD in the nation and he's involved in all of UF's athletic programs. UF also has an active booster club with big time donors. To top it off, UF fans are as demanding as they are supportive. I don't think Gundy would be any more comfortable in Gainesville than he is now in Stillwater. Not sure Gundy would fit into the culture at Florida anyway, but Gundy's situation at Oklahoma State seems dysfunctional and he seems miserable. He's been there 10 years and maybe it's time for him to go elsewhere. Would he pull a Tuberville? I haven't kept up with Auburn in a long time. Refresh me on what Tuberville did. I'm drawing a blank right now.

I'm drawing a blank right now. After Tuberville was fired, er...resigned from Auburn, he accepted the head coaching job at Texas Tech. Had some grief from people at Tech and resigned to coach at Cincinnati. Maybe Gundy can find a coaching job at a lower-tier program, though I hope Gundy will remain at Ok State.

Coaches Names I've Seen Mentioned That Pat Dooley Hasn't Shit Canned Yet:
Art Briles - Baylor Hugh Freeze - Ole Miss Todd Graham - Arizona State Doc Holliday - Marshall Mark Hudspeth - Louisiana Lafayette Gus Malzahn - Auburn Jim Mora - UCLA Gary Patterson - TCU Dabo Swinney - Clemson
I have no clue except I've seen them mentioned at one time or another. I really don't think Jeremy Foley is going to get too busy with the hiring process until after the games this coming Saturday.

Art Briles - somebody said he turned town UTex so doubt will come to UF Hugh Freeze - too Christian for UF - he lets his faith be too much a part of the locker room Todd Graham - somebody said he told his Pitt team by tweet that he was going to ASU Jim Mora - may not want to play second fiddle in LA with USC coming off probation Doc Holliday - was on Urban Meyer's UF staff - recruits Florida very well - great job at Marshall Mark Hudspeth - no idea, but his team almost upset UF in The Swamp in 2012 Gus Malzahn - If he's available, he'd be a favorite with Jeremy Foley Gary Patterson - Has shown he can get it done on both sides of the ball Dabo Swinney - bama/SEC roots - has been successful with Clemson - recruits Florida very well If I could get anyone on the list, it would be Gus Malzahn. I love his creative offense. He reminds me a bit of Steve Spurrier. It would get him out of bama's/Saban's shadow. During ABC's BC at FSU broadcast, they mentioned Steve Adazzio as a possibility. For some reason, he wasn't a favorite with UF fans.

A perfect example of why we're getting a new coach. Who ever we get I hope he at least has the same fire as Muschamp. Muschamp is great except for his inability to field a competent offense.

Last series? Will didn't want to mess up Jimbo's playoff bid. It was some pretty stupid play calling with that much time left and 3 timeouts.
Win or lose in the Iron Bowl, I'm watching the coach I'd like for UF. It's a shame it isn't likely to happen.

It's clear that Austin Hardin kicks better from the middle of the field to the right hash. Both wide right misses came from the left hash.

Doc Holliday - was on Urban Meyer's UF staff - recruits Florida very well - great job at Marshall Best name of the bunch. Haven't been paying close attention but why not Jim McElwain?
