Florida State 27 Florida 2
The UF offense and place kicker game destroyed any chance at a UF win. This shit has to stop now. The Gators have to get a top quality QB and a top quality kicker in the 2016 class. Regardless of what else UF gets, the 16 class will be a failure to me if UF doesn't get both.
The douche bag nolies scored on a misdirection pitchout to Dalvin Cook to score from the UF 25 with 20 seconds left in the game. To me, it was no different than throwing for the endzone to run up the score after the game was over. The difference is Cook is FSU's best weapon. The Gators D shutdown Cook for 3 quarters, but they letdown after they got UF's only 2 points and when the UF O fizzled its chance to get back into the game with a continuation of ineptitude.

For anyone who reads here, I'll not be covering the SECCG against bama here or by opening a game thread. The tide will probably be about a 40 point fav. I'll record the game and watch back only if the game is competitive which has as much chance of happening as a snow balls chance in hell.

Ex-FSU QB De'Andre Johnson who was dismissed from FSU for hitting a woman in a bar was in attendance as a guest of UF at the FSU game last night. It appears UF is recruiting both De'Andre and his brother who is a defensive back. The father was in attendance too. I have 3 points:
1. Don't bother unless De'Andre has the size and skill set to run Mac's offense. 2. This would not be a UF decision alone. Due to hitting the woman in a bar, the SEC would have to approve a transfer to any SEC school. 3. If 1 is yes and 2 is SEC approved, I wouldn't object to the kid getting a second chance close to home (Jax) with UF.
You guys can slam me now, but people deserve a second chance in life and football. He transferred to a Mississippi JUCO, but he didn't play. Since he will have been sitting out a year, I'm thinking he would be eligible at any school he transfers to at the start of the 16 season. He should be a sophomore with 4 years to play 3 since he was an early enrollee and hasn't redshirted.
I don't care one way or the other, but I thought the Gators and nolies here should know about the possibility of this happening either to UF, some other SEC school, or somewhere else around the country.

I've received a strange email with what appears to encrypted text. I mention it here only because a Gator logo was embedded in the header.
Something may be afoot....

Good recruiting news - get a FG kicker now and I'll be happy - From the Gainesville Sun:
By Zach Abolverdi Correspondent

A day after scoring zero offensive points, Florida got some help on that side of the ball in recruiting.
Top-100 quarterback Feleipe Franks, offensive guard Jawaan Taylor and junior college athlete Dre Massey all committed to the Gators on Sunday, announcing their decisions on Twitter.
Franks is UF’s biggest pledge for 2016 to date and gives the Gators a second QB in their class to go along with Kyle Trask.
Florida coach Jim McElwain and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier pursued Franks for months and won him over in recent weeks.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pounder attended UF’s last three home games and decommitted from LSU last Monday.
“I’m very comfortable with Florida,” said Franks, a U.S. Army All-American who has his high school, Wakulla, in the Class 5A state semifinals. “I just like coach Nuss and coach Mac as people.
“They show me their personality more than their recruiting side. It’s not just football all day with them. They know me as a person and we have a fun relationship.”
Massey, a 6-foot, 185-pound offensive playmaker from Goodman (Miss.) Holmes C.C., was one of six official visitors for UF over the weekend.
Rated a four-star recruit by ESPN and Scout, Massey was offered by the Gators last month and chose them over Auburn, Oklahoma and South Carolina. UF plans to use him at several spots on offense and in the return game.
Florida flipped Taylor from Miami. The 6-4, 340-pounder visited Gainesville twice this fall, most recently for the FAU game, and was offered by the Gators this past week.
A teammate of Florida cornerback signee Chauncey Gardner, Taylor decommitted from Miami late Saturday night and made the switch Sunday.
UF now has 26 members in its 2016 class. Verbal commitments are not binding until prospects sign their national letters of intent.

Been reading that Grier hasn't been at practice, and is looking to transfer.
Any truth to this on your end?

Been reading that Grier hasn't been at practice, and is looking to transfer. Any truth to this on your end? I have no information on this whatsoever. However, a transfer doesn't make sense to me. He'd be giving up half a year of his eligibility as he has already redshirted and he'd have to sit out the whole 2016 season instead of coming back in game 7 against Mizzou. If the Gators win the East and go bowling in 16, Grier's time off would go from 14 games to 22 games. He'd have 2 years to play 2 instead of having 2 1/2 years to play 2 1/2 years. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I really don't think anyone knows enough to put a good rumor out there.

I really like Jake McGee. This is his interview after the game. It's a little over 3 minutes, but it's worth the time to watch: www.gatorvision.tv/watch/?Archive=3379It looks to me like Jake could have a good future in coaching ahead of him.

Demarcus Robinson is off the depth chart. I guess the decision has been made to keep him off the team. Since he was leaning towards leaving early to the NFL, I guess he has played in his last game for UF.
The only DL out this week is Alex McCalister. It looks like we won't see him again until whatever bowl UF goes to.
Get a load of the 12 DL that Mac intends to rotate this week. It also looks like UF will be out of the nickel and into a 4/3. UF hasn't played this defense all season, but it has to be done to try to slow down the bama running game.
