According to his latest interview he is announcing sometime this week. A guy who works for either the game or the network has stated that he is not on the announcing schedule. They will not allow anyone to have a moment in the sun if they are committed, so unless he officially decommits from UF in the next day or so, it ain't happening. I've heard Cook is going to announce something on Thursday. It is likely an official decommitment from UF so he can have his day in the sun on ESPN. That makes more sense than anything else as he would have no reason to confirm UF as he's already publically committed. At least it doesn't come as a surprise to Gator fans who have been keeping up. LOL!! I read where he said the process is wearing him down. Had to laugh at that as he has drawn all of the attention on himself by playing games, committing, decommitting, committing again and then making all sorts of comments that sound like he is not committed when he officially is. I am with you on one thing, I am sick of the divas and prima donnas in recruiting.

Just heard that Cook is suppose to announce tonight at 7:00 on ESPNU. Still think he goes FSU but a lot think he is sticking with UF now.

Cook flipped to FSU. I would imagine Lane is to follow.

UF would like to have a good RB in this class, but getting two next year would still do the job.
If Lane ends up at FSU, UF will have traded Lane for Sousa.
I'm going to LMAO if Jimbo Fisher ends up at Texas.

He finally signed it today, which I think was done for recruiting purposes, or he got FSU to up the ante a bit more to fend of any Texas offers.

I know nothing about Sousa. Can you give me the inside info on him?
$4.2 mil won't stop Texas if he interviews and they make him an offer. My guess is the Texas HC will make closer to $6 mil+ after Saban signed for his $7 mil+ contract. Jimbo could get a 50% raise on top of his current raise if he goes to Texas. That kind of money talks.

Lane is no Kelvin Benjamin. That's all I care about.

Lane is no Kelvin Benjamin. That's all I care about. Kelvin is a man among boys. He is also 23 years old. It is tough for an 18 year old to look anything like him at this stage. Sousa is a very solid route runner with some quicks and good speed. Lane is arguably the top receiver in the state. He is showing out at the UA practices. Like I said, Sousa is a good player, and he is a good pickup for the Gators at a position of need. But he doesn't make up for what you lose in Lane....assuming he flips.

With Dodds leaving there is a power vacuum between the new A.D., the Regents and school President. Not to mention the boosters. Dodds had Mack Brown's back for all those years and the new guy won't have that luxury. Anybody considering the Hubris U. job should think long and hard about the decision.
