fsu gets drilled by 39, and your first 2 posts are about winston's future and a missed pi call? lmao. yeah, fsu got jobbed. but at the half this game was still 18-13.

Glad you admit it was a blown call......

from a gator:
Bianchi: Why is Jameis Winston's FSU more hated than Aaron Hernandez's Gators?
LOS ANGELES — Jameis Winston helped a handicapped kid get out of his wheelchair and walk two days ago..
And yet nobody in the national media wrote a glowing column commending him for it.
But if Winston or one of his Florida State teammates had so much as broken curfew, there would have been dozens of bloggers and floggers painting FSU as the most notorious group of West Coast villains since the Manson Family.
"We can't help what people think of us," FSU coach Jimbo Fisher has said repeatedly this week.
"I can't get people to like me," Winston said with a look of resignation on his face.
The Orlando Sentinel's Mike Bianchi & Brendan Sonnone make a prediction and take one final look at FSU, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, before game day against the Oregon Ducks. (Joe Burbank/Orlando Sentinel)
If today's Rose Bowl national-championship semifinal between Florida State and Oregon were a Hollywood movie, the Seminoles would be the shark from "Jaws" and the Ducks would be George Bailey from "It's a Wonderful Life." Winston would be Hannibal Lecter; Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota would be Little Orphan Annie. New York Times columnist Juliet Macur wrote last week about the Seminoles: "[FSU] fans at the [Rose Bowl] might want to bring a towel — not to swing over their heads as they cheer, but to use after the game ... to use after showering. Anyone who has supported the program for the past couple of years should feel dirty by now."
Renowned college football journalist Clay Travis — editor of the popular website "Outkick The Coverage" — wrote recently: "America hates Florida State. ... there's a decent argument that Florida State is the most hated team in the history of college football. Hell, FSU might be the most hated team in the history of American sports."
Really, Clay?
Seriously?
FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher and Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich meet and greet in front of the Rose Bowl Trophy, at the media hotel in downtown Los Angeles, Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2014. (Joe Burbank and Stephen M. Dowell/Orlando Sentinel)
More hated than the SMU football team that was given the death penalty for rampant rule-breaking? More hated than the Penn State program that buried its head in the sand while former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky raped little boys? More hated than the 2000 Baltimore Ravens, who welcomed Ray Lewis back after he was charged with murder and pled down to obstructing justice in a double-homicide case?
I have no words for the manner in which the media has exploited this story, and Mike Bianchi is to be commended for calling his colleagues to task. At the conclusion of these hearings, there were no winners. These young people's lives--and I'm also referring to the young woman--will...
Don't get me wrong, I understand the negativity surrounding Winston and the Seminoles. There is a national perception that the Tallahassee Police Department and its botched sexual-assault investigation enabled Winston to get away with raping a fellow FSU student two years ago. Even though two official investigations — one by the Leon County State Attorney's Office and one by FSU's Student Conduct Committee — found that there was not enough evidence to charge Winston with any wrongdoing, the stigma still exists.
But to paint FSU as any more scandalous than other powerhouses — past or present — is laughable.
Let's not forget that Oregon became a national power under former coach Chip Kelly, whose shady recruiting practices resulted in an NCAA investigation and Kelly being hit with a serious "show cause" penalty after he'd already left for the NFL. And remember former Oregon Heisman candidate LaMichael James getting arrested and spending time in jail for domestic battery?
And who will ever forget Nebraska's shameful championship run under former coach Tom Osborne, who allowed star running back Lawrence Phillips to play in the national-title game against Florida despite Phillips beating up his former girlfriend and dragging her — caveman style — down three flights of stairs by the hair?
And does anybody remember coach Pete Carroll's ultra-successful run at USC when former quarterback Mark Sanchez was once accused of sexual assault?
Or what about the Florida Gators' arrest-ridden national-championship runs under Urban Meyer when former player Aaron Hernandez was once identified as a suspect in a still-unsolved double-shooting in Gainesville?
The point is, there is good and bad in every major college program. Just ask Payton Poulin, the lifelong FSU fan who suffers from schizencephaly, a crippling disease similar to cerebral palsy.
With Winston and teammate DeMarcus Walker assisting him, Poulin got up from his wheelchair after Tuesday's practice and walked nearly 50 yards into the end zone as the rest of the team clapped and encouraged him.
Tears rolled down Jimbo Fisher's cheek.
"Payton just ran a 40 in 4.4," Winston exclaimed with a smile.
Too bad nobody from the national media was there to write about it.

We'll find out soon enough as the NFL deadline is coming up. I have read that it was his intention to make his announcement today, January 6, which is his birthday, and the anniversary of the national championship from last year. Every rumor that I have read has also pointed towards him returning, which would be probably too good to be true. At this point, I'll still consider it a rumor unless he specifically says that he's gonna stay.
